I NEVER EVER write reviews because I'm lazy. This shop, and specifically Ivy, made me realize that some places really deserve recognition for their exceptional service. If your ever visiting Lambertville or New Hope, this store is a must visit! They've got cool guy stuff too! especially for unique wedding party presents.

This store has been around for quite a while. I'm pushing 40 and remember watching my parents ogling at the cool jewelry seemingly decades ago. It's a perfect combination of eclectic and well made crafty merchandise. Case in point, they carry beautiful bronze and wood wind chimes/bells from an artist who's sand casting art studio I coincidently toured while visiting Maine years ago.

About a year and half ago, my then fiancé and I visited the store to shop for a Mokume wedding ring. Mokume is the folding/blending of precious metals that looks similar to Damascus steel. It's incredibly hard to work with and requires a very skilled jeweler. Heart of the Home has a large selection of these rings and Ivy, their Jewelry Manager, spent over an hour patiently educating us on everything about them. She was so sweet and honestly interested in our story; it was a wonderful and personable experience. Ivy helped expedite the crafting of my ring before our wedding and overnighted it to me free of charge. She maintained email and phone correspondence with me throughout the process.

Recently I noticed a hairline crack forming at the union on my ring. I reached out to Ivy and Robin, Customer Service Associate, and they sprung into action. Ivy had my ring shipped to the artist, who fixed same at no charge, and had it back on my finger in under two weeks. She was, as usual, warm, kind, welcoming, and just an honest to goodness...

Great variety of gifts like rustic candles, etc., but the entire store is grossly overpriced.. $29 for a basic wooden mixing spoon, for example. There was a very long line during our last visit and the cashier got into a long conversation with the customer in front of us at the register, trying to upsell them on different products and leaving the register to get items to show them without acknowledging or apologizing to anyone in line. The line was backed up and we were on the verge of just putting our items down and leaving. Upselling a $15 item is not worth losing customers and higher,...

A shop that is full of beautiful and well made alternatives to the mass produced items found all over.
