I tried on a jacket with a purple tag that had a red slash through it. As per the store’s (owner’s) policy. ALL TAGS WITH A SLASH THROUGH IT ARE 50% off. The jacket was $150 which would have made it $75. It has been in the store since May 2024. This is a Consignment Shop. I went to purchase the jacket with my husband, even though we thought the jacket was still a bit pricey for a consignment shop, but it was new and we figured why not. The Owner of the shop said that the slash was a mistake and she would not honor the 50% off. I said to her that she would have to because that is what the tag said and her sign said. She took the jacket and refused the sale. I said to her that is wrong, if that was a mistake, that was on her and that she needed to honor it. I feel that it was a deeper meaning behind not selling me the jacket as she was listening in on a private conversation I was having with my husband as I was trying on clothes. She was behind the curtain. I told her I would never shop in her store again, and she said that is fine by her. She is the Owner and is extremely rude and is a thief in my personal opinion. She should have honored the ticketed price on the jacket as per her own store policy. The End. If there was a choice for ZERO Stars, I would have given ZERO stars. Plus, all the clothes in her store smell like BO. I purchased an Italian Linen dress a few months ago, and I just remembered, I had to throw it out, because the stink was so bad and wouldn’t come out in the wash several times, even with vinegar and baking soda. So in hindsight, I’m happy I didn’t waste $75 on a jacket that I most likely would have thrown out because of the stench.

RESPONSE TO OWNER’S RESPONSE: None of this review was fabricated. My husband and I were not rude, we were just completely taken by surprised when we kindly asked if you could do better on the price. ALL WE DID WAS KINDLY ASK. And then you could have responded no. But you responded with a lie. The ticket was clearly marked with a red slash through it which meant 50% off your ticketed price of $150. You ticket each item, and I truly don’t believe it was a mistake. If it was, you would have changed it when you made the mistake. This jacket has been in your store with this “mistake” since May. Instead, you grabbed the jacket away from me. You were the rude one. Who does that? How would you want anyone to react? You are so unprofessional and rude. Learn how to treat your customers, they are your livelihood. And as a matter of fact, even if you are a small business…what ever the ticket was marked, you should have honored it, even if it was your mistake. Because it certainly wasn’t my mistake. Your signs advertised it, and the item was ticketed as such. Shame on you for false advertising. Shame on you for not honoring it and being so nasty and rude about it. You were the nasty and rude and unprofessional one. And yes, that didn’t sit right with me and I am voicing my review on your stinky attitude. So again ZERO STARS FOR YOU. AS FOR YOU WILLING TO WORK WITH US OFFERING 30% OFF, 50% OFF WAS WHAT THE TAG SAID AND WAS ADVERTISED REGARDLESS OF YOUR “MISTAKE” AND THAT IS WHAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SOLD FOR. So kudos to me for standing up for myself, because being bullied and mistreated like that from you did not sit well with me. I see I wasn’t the only one you were rude to reading through...

This is a lovely shop. The mix of clothing is really nice, casual to formal, inclusive of different styles and men’s! The owner is friendly, but gives you space to shop without being pushy.
