We went to Piazzi in Frenchtown for my father-in-law’s birthday, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The restaurant is intimate with a warm, family feel — you can immediately tell it’s a place where they truly care about their guests.
Our waiter, Andrea, absolutely elevated the evening. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel like family. Our table wasn’t quite ready (which I actually appreciated — it means they don’t rush anyone out), so he came right out, opened a bottle of our wine, and made sure we were comfortable while we waited.
He recommended one of the specials, and all six of us decided to try it — every single dish was out of this world. The bread is phenomenal, and the food overall was some of the best we’ve had anywhere.
The owner came by our table several times to check on us, and she’s just lovely — you can tell she genuinely cares and puts her heart into everything.
A perfect night, wonderful service, and food that’s worth every mile to get there. We’ll...
Read moreI have worked in restaurant most of my life. That being said, I take into consideration quality, service, atmosphere, cleanliness, creativity and vibe. Piazzi Trattoria hit all of those markers for me. We had the fennel salad & Pizzi pizza (imported mortadella, pistachio pesto, burrata and pec romano) and we devoured it. The mortadella was the best I have ever tasted and I have never had it on a pizza but she was good! Our table ordered the Pappardelle bolonese, Sea of risotto (large pieces of fish topped on the best risotto) and the ravioli with veal meatballs. We just about licked our plates. We were way to full for dessert but we had to try their pistachio cake - to die for!! Bravo to the owner and the staff for making me so excited to drive from Doylestown to Frenchtown for a knock-out dinner!! Also, we...
Read moreThe food I had here was absolutely outstanding. Food here isn’t just simply made, it is crafted. Everything was perfect as can be, from beginning start of the house baked table bread - all the way to the dessert profiterole, I was truly impressed. I could tell the caesar salad wasn’t just simply thrown together in a rush like at many Italian restaurants I’ve been to, and it even had whole anchovie which is slightly hard to find, (because usually it’s ground up in the dressing) and made the salad even better. When the dinner dishes arrived, I was so excited from the way everything looked I was in actual awe. The profiterole for dessert was so rich and chocolatey, you must have it. And Thank you, Andrea for the fantastic, above and beyond service. The experience here for dinner was...
