We stopped into Frenchtown Fresh after enjoying a morning on the river. Service was a bit slow, but this was understandable because of the time we arrived. There are a few seats outdoors, but depending on the time, the sun will roast you. We lucked out and got a table mostly in the shade. The lemonade was extremely bitter and tasted like just straight lemon juice. It definitely wasn't sweet like we anticipated. The mac and cheese was strange. It was closer to a bland pasta rather than what you would expect. The pulled pork sandwich and the Italian sausage sandwich absolutely knocked it out of the park though! I'm not sure how some food can be so delicious while some of their other selections are far from it. This spot is hit-or-miss for me. I picked up a menu so excited to order and a lady who wasn’t wearing a mask told me she closed the grill and told me they close at 4:30 PM. The website says they closed at 5:00 PM and I was so disappointed. Why have “Open” signs everywhere and hours that you don’t abide to?
