Walking around Frenchtown on a beautiful Friday and stopped into Frenchtown Subs for lunch. Good sandwiches, a few vegan options.
The menu is pretty large with many hot and cold sandwiches with a few vegan options. My partner tried the vegan Reuben with house made vegan corned beef, vegan cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing. He enjoyed the sandwich, it is served hot and pressed.
I ordered a non-vegan grilled cheese with American cheese, it was very cheesy, hot and buttery. Nice treat.

Our Sandwiches were just okay. I had the Caprese sandwich. The flavor was okay but there was barly any tomato and mozzarella inside, a balsamic glaze would have maybe helped it...my son asked for the Frenchtown panini.....we got home and it was a sub, that literally had 3 pieces of roast beef in it. The Onions looked pre cooked and cold, and barly any cheese to even notice if there was any. I saw all the wonderful reviews and expected an amazing sub. But it was just so so. It was more bread...

"Frenchtown Subs is always my go-to spot whenever I'm in town. The sandwiches are consistently delicious, and the soups are unbelievably fresh and flavorful. In fact, I always make sure to bring a couple of soups home with me, all the way to Brooklyn—they’re that good!
