While the store is pretty, some of what they sell is defective, with torn foil instead of real metal holding pendants to bails, and some bails are put on crooked. I could understand that, but the owner refunded the wrong amount to me, so I lost $4 plus tax (it's the principle of this that bothers me). When I called to tell him the pieces were each $2 more than he refunded my husband, he got nasty, asked for the tags. I told him HE had taken the tags OFF my pieces when I purchased them, but that I know they were $18 each, and they were on my receipt. I had spent over $210, so was shocked when started screaming at me, and then hung up on me. LBuyer beware. I can no longer support this business and would not recommend anyone do business with them either. They are nice when you are paying a lot of money TO them, but will rip you off when you return something. Why would they remove tags? Ponder that! It's so they can they can then not refund the full amount! UPDATE, the owner did give me a free necklace because I had to drive an hour and 10 min. round trip to bring back 2 defective necklaces which he told me he could replace or repair right then and there. When I got there, he did NOT have either necklace and the jeweler said they COULD NOT BE REPAIRED, so I had wasted my time, gas, and energy, thus a free $18 necklace. He still assured me I would get my money back on the 2 defective pieces or would replace them. I waited 3 weeks for new ones to arrive as promised, but they never arrived. My husband drove there to return the 2 pieces at 2 pm, but the store, which they assured me was open til 6 every night, was CLOSED (yes, at 2 pm). HE went back 2 days later, receipt in hand, and was NOT give what we paid. I had paid $18 per necklace, but they refunded $16 per necklace, so I was shorted the $4 plus tax, to say nothing of my husband going out of his way TWICE to get our money back. The receipt made it easy for them to NOT give the full amount because they do not use SKU numbers. There were 9 items, most of which were $18 or more, with 2 items being $16, but those were NOT the items we returned. The owner was very rude when I called about this, and hung up on me, after screaming at me! No one should do...
Read moreThis shop caught my eye from across the street. Fell in love the moment I walked in. The presentation was great. Lots of natural light and lighting above the gems so that you could see their clarity and brilliance. There were notations above each gem with a description. Loose tumbled stones, bracelets and jewelry throughout the store. This is a happy place, love these stones. I various stones on special spots throughout my home.
I asked the owner whether they tumbled all of the stones, he said no and then said 'wait here'. He came back with a small raw river bed citrine that came from Africa. He placed it in my palm and said keep it. He son came over and gave me a card with a description of its properties - attracts good health, abundance, prosperity and success. Increasing energy levels, bringing love and happiness - the last bit really stood out and that was acting as a protective shield again negative energy. I said we could all do with a little more of that. He said I should put it in my purse and carry it with me. I asked, should I get a bracelet, he said if you wish. So I did. He placed the bracelet over a clear quartz tower for a few minutes to energetically clear the bracelet. Many thanks to Michael & Aidan.
Obviously I'll be going back. It was a lovely experience to have on the first visit to...
Read moreFirst time going to a real crystal shop after learning so much about them online and through friends. It felt like a dream walking in and all of the shops in frenchtown are so nicely decorated I couldn't help but want to take photos to show friends how magical this place looked, I couldn't wait to make some purchases. I was hastily told, "there are no pictures there's signs everywhere.." I quickly apologized and put my phone away saying "sorry I didn't even realize, I was so distracted by everything its just beautiful in here" followed by a blank, annoyed stare by the employee. I felt a bit confused why such a beautiful space wouldn't want to be photographed as I did not see the harm it would be causing. They seemed annoyed and ignored me from then on. This just really put a halt to my excitement and I could be naive in knowing why the photographs were not allowed but some kindness would have been appreciated...
