Windsor — Local services in Fresno

I never write reviews but i’m doing this in hopes for the manager of this store to see it if possible. But me and my friend went yesterday to look for concert outfits (around 11:30am-12pm) and the girl helping us try on our dresses was super amazing and sweet! I think there was another on the floor ( i can’t remember names & could’ve been the same person). The dress that my friend had picked out had intermediate damaged and had a lot of snagles on it, and was wondering if she could have a discount on the dress. The employee said that was possible! When we went to ring it up the cashier was like “They said we’d give you a discount???” Like all confused, and the manager or supervisor on her computer said some snarky comment to the cashier about the girl that helped us about this discount-saying something like “who said they could get the discount?….(name of employee) oh makes sense.” & the cashier like sarcastically laughed. Definitely rubbed me and my friend the wrong way. In the workplace, to see that in general it makes me really sad to see something like that displayed infront of customers. If you really had a problem with the employee or didn’t think she gave great service, then handle that with your team in private. If i was her i would be really upset and just sad to know my own manager and coworkers were saying that infront of us! ( We did get the discount 10%) but with attitude. I hope the girl who helped us with the dress sees this and knows you did an amazing job and did nothing but help! Me and my friend thought you were super sweet. Maybe it’s not worth working under a store that gossips infront of customers and behind your back. I really just wanted to see the new layout too but no i am not coming back to support...

I really didn’t want to write this review but my experience at this store still bothers me days later. I went into Windsor inside fashion fair mall on Saturday 8/31 with my husband,I asked to use a dressing room to try on some clothes and the girl that helped me counted my items and seen I had 6 items, I took about maybe 15 minutes to try on all 6 items. As I come out to meet my husband to register this other lady that works there, I assume is the manager or supervisor, comes running after me saying I took off a piece of alarm tag from one of the clothings. She grabs all the items out of my arms basically yanking them without asking if I can hand them over first and once she realized that all items had the security tag all she says is “ leave your items here I’ll just put them away” she said it 3-4 times really rude as she seen that I was collecting all the items back, she never attempted to apologize and just walked away like who even said I wasn’t going to purchase all 6 items? I never said I was done shopping nor did I ever say that I didn’t want any of the items. Idk I may be over thinking but I just felt embarrassed since half the store in there was staring at me and my husband like we were some thieves. I don’t think I’ll ever be...

The overall attitude here was unacceptable! The females that helped us were rude except for the young lady that was at the register. I informed the floor staff she needed to find other employment if she was going to treat paying customers the way that she did. She was rude to myself and my daughter. She refused to take a dress off the manikin that was the only one left in my daughter's size, then upon exiting the dressing room she snatched the dresses out of my daughter's hand slammed the hanger onto the rack and slid them over forcefully- as she her eyes at us. When shopping for a prom dress for my daughter-we spent a high amount there; as do many other customers that are in there for the same reasons. When you have people spending from $250-$500, the least you could do is provide them with good customer service (being they pay your salary) and if you can't -find another job! We will not be returning here in the future! Windsor was lucky they got our $248 purchase. I would not recommend them for the simple fact of how rude the staff was and how unwilling they were to help. The dresses are OK , but you can find better service & quality...
