On July 11,2024 I arrived at stonebrair to purchase three rings. The associate that assisted with my purchase was Gloria. I wore the rings out of the store, the same night that I got home I noticed that the rings I just purchased had scratches on them like they had been previously worn before. I work everyday and usually have one or two off days a week so I had not had time to return the DAMAGED RINGS THAT I RECEIVED until July 18 which was my next off day from work. I went into James Avery to return the rings because of the scratches I noticed on them. I was again assisted by Gloria, she stated to me that I had been wearing the rings and they have to be returned back in the “original” state that they were purchased. I politely told her that I work everyday and had not wore the rings for them to look like that and that I’d like to return them as well as I could show her my work schedule so she knew that there was no time for me to wear the rings being that my job DOES NOT allow for ANY jewelry to be worn while working. Gloria insisted that I wore the rings and that’s why they were in the condition they were in, implying that I was lying about the rings being previously damaged. As a LOYAL customer who has been shopping at James Avery for years I feel disrespected, and disgusted with the poor customer service, the attitude, and the choice of words used by Gloria. Whoever is the manager at this store needs to assist Gloria with learning what customer service skills are and how to treat loyal clients. Read moreI just had to enter this right now because I received the friendliest service from Michelle who made me wish all store representatives were like. I called and asked if they had any boxes I could use for a wire choker bracelet I wanted to gift and although she only had a limited supply in the store, she offered to bring an alternative box that would work just as well from her house. I was blown away. Wow. Imagine if you received service like this when calling other businesses? Her voice, her attitude, her friendliness, her excitement to be working for James Avery and her overall joy came across beaming through the phone. Just yesterday I was at Macy's asking the sales representative to reach under the counter for a fresher bottle of $200 dollar Bleu De Chanel and she acted like I was asking her to unstock all 30 bottles they had and restock. Service was horrible and her attitude was that of someone not wanting to be at work. I like to check the batch code under the bottle and try to get a bottle at least under a year old but apparently this sale she was making commission on was too much work for her. Shame. Read moreI went in to buy my wife a replacement charm bracelet cause hers was lost in a recent move. Went to pay, scanned my card and it was approved on my end. They told me it didn't so i checked my bank app and it had gone thru. I told them i didn't want to scan my card again I'm on a tight budget for christmas. The lady assured me one would drop of if i scanned again. I said i didn't think that's how it works but she was adamant. I did and sure enough double charged. That was the rest of my Christmas money. This was Saturday morning, was told someone would call me back that day and bo one did skip to Monday still no word or refund. I went to get my wife's charm and bracelet and to see what happened to my refund and was treated rudely by Michelle and told it went thru and problem was resolved which it wasn't.
