Metropolitan SUN SPA — Local services in Frisco

I have been coming to Metropolitan Sun Spa for the last year or so after needing to find my new go-to places, including all of my health related places after newly moving to Texas with my husband!

I found Metropolitan Sun Spa out of sheer research within my area, and I made a stop before signing up and I met with the owner who is absolutely wonderful. She showed me around, gave me all of the necessary information I needed and I signed up for the unlimited plan so that I could have access to the entire spa anytime I wanted, and to get all of the health benefits including the sauna and red light therapy. Since coming here for almost a year now, they have continuously been wonderful. It is a husband-wife and daughter facility and all three of them are always so nice and welcoming, and they get you into any of the rooms you may need as soon as they can. The facility itself is not overly big, but for what it is, they sure do make the space work! They have a ton of rooms for tanning and other health-related things you can do while you're there including the sauna, massage chair rooms, red light therapy and they keep adding more cool things! It is nestled away in a cute, suburban plaza and there are never any issues there with parking or getting around.

More than just a tanning salon. Metropolitan Spa offers just that. A spa treatment from red lighr face therapy while receiving a full body massage in the amazing massage chair to your stand up vibrating redlight tanning bed which you receive the sun kiss color while working out your buttock and recovering redlight therapy for any internal injuries or simply to rejuvenate collagen. They also have a private red light sauna (for 1) that allows you to really target those hurt joints, back and shoulders while sweating away your toxins. Not to mention they have the traditional top of the line tanning beds but if that’s not for you they have a variety to choose from. Last but certainly not least the spray tan booth which gives the same results from color to coverage every time adds that sense of security for those last minute trips which require immediate results. I have to say I’ve personally watched this company start from the ground up over what might be 15 years (don’t quote me) but there’s one thing they never skip on which is service. They truly cater to their community with very fair price points, an array of equipment and service which several were not covered it’s just simply the best “tanning spa” I would ever refer in the DFW area. Gino is the owner and he’s a very kind & informative guy, who has truly changed what a tanning spa should be! There is so much more to this place than just tanning. They have red light therapy in all their beds which is a huge plus! (Research benefits of red light therapy) They offer bed tanning, standing tanning and a Versa Pro spray tan room. This place has an amazing and very relaxing massage chair, a Cocoon Fitness pod, an infrared sauna, a small fitness room and Cryoskin. This is a super cute and very clean place.
