Here's the skinny:
Egg posh is definitely a place you NEED to check out! If you want to impress your lady, go here! If you want to impress a woman you want to you've sought out come here! If you want to be known as the socialite among her girlfriends known for places to eat, come here! They have a variety of brunchy things they specialize in so there should be something for all taste buds, unless you have a boring palette....here are a few recommendations:
Beneits 8.5/10 it would have been perfect if there was another dipping sauce outside of the nutella and the strawberry cream...perhaps a strawberry preserve butter or something or a vanilla bean cold sweet cream sauce would've made this elite!!!! But the dish itself is still excellent
Spicy chicken and biscuits 8/10 truth: the biscuits are 2 biscuits cut in half for 4 pieces topped with a spicy chicken BREAST and gravy....so the biscuits are not all that to be honest, they are quite doughy like they are missing something or a little love...nothing special. The chicken breast was seasoned well and fried well amd the gravy was your typical country gravy (cant go wrong here). You can get eggs any way you like. NOW what brings everything together and makes this dish a banger is the Nashville hot honey sauce. You pour/drizzle this over the dish along with a little syrup and yeah your taste buds start to do the Mardi Gras im your mouth!!!!!
Short rib bowl 9/10: excellent and quite filling!!!!! Full of meat, also comes with red peppers hashbrowns and a demi glaze....this a comfort dish that my mouth was happy to be introduced to...definitely would be a regular order in the winter.
Coffee: 10/10 ( Cortada W/ oatmilk, vanilla and cinnamon sprinkles) and yes their coffees come instagram and social media ready with the complimentary Biscoff cookie...to say this was amazing would be doing this a disservice, but thats the only way to describe it.
All in all small nits and picks but that could be based on your preference(s) definitely a place I could see anyone adding as a staple (maybe not on weekends). Lives up to the...
Read moreWe had been to Egg Posh before and were happy with the food and service so it was our choice for Motherâs Day. We went with friends and my teenaged daughter who is disabled. We were seated outside so we didnât feel crowded. Our waiter was phenomenal and the food was good but it quickly became apparent they wanted us to leave. We had one host come and ask if we would be needing anything else before we had even been served our food. My daughter eats slowly so we were waiting for her to finish. The manager/hostess came over multiple times to see if we were done. We explained my daughter was still eating and needed some more time. She then came back and removed all of the condiments from the table including the maple syrup while my daughter was still eating. She then sent the bus boy over who set his crate of dirty dishes right next to my daughterâs plate and he began to clear the table around her. At that point we made her stop eating her meal and left. I understand that Motherâs Day is extremely busy and you are worried about keeping things moving but giving my daughter another 10 minutes to finish her meal would not have affected your profits that much. There was a family at the next table who were there before we were so we werenât being unreasonable. I donât care about the rosemary sprigs and flowers on the food, I care about my child being treated with decency and respect. With the large number of breakfast/brunch restaurants in the Frisco area, it would be wise to up your game and focus on providing customer service for ALL your customers, not just the ones you feel are important. After waiting over an hour and paying a decent amount for a meal, I...
Read moreCame here with one of my girlfriends a couple of weeks ago and had to come back and share this experience with my hubby. I would have rated this place five stars the first time I came, but this time was even better (not sure how that was even possible though as the first visit was awesome as well)! Anyway, I know Iâm little wordy but bear with me. They go above and beyond. Their menu is fun and creative and tastes as wonderful as the adorable finishing touches they put on everything they bring out of the kitchen. I mean⌠look at the pictures! Itâs a romantic and whimsical place that makes you feel like a special guest. Also, they have a table side mimosa bar that comes with a chilled bottle of champagne in an ice bucket , carafe of oj, and your choice of flavor add ins. We didnât get it, but saw it come out and it just looked like so much fun! Take your girl squad for a fun brunch, or just go with your fam for some yummy food and coffee.
Besides the excellent food, their service is impeccable and non pretentious. My hubby and I had the pleasure of Jonathan serving us today. He is a joy and had such a passion for the restaurant, the food, and the people he serves. I have a career in the service industry and always look at the happiness of the employees. Happy employees = great business.
Side note: the pricing isnât any more than any other breakfast place. In fact, itâs LESS expensive if you consider the portions and extra love they clearly put...
