Madewell — Local services in Frontenac

My daughter and I were at the Plaza Frontenac location today at Grace H checked us out. The store was having 30% off the whole store today and my daughter bought a few pair of earrings. Grace was so rude to her when she asked if the earring were part of the sale. Grace glared at us and was so unfriendly and rude. Then she just gave us the earrings and a receipt with no bag. When I asked for a bag she was so rude and said nothing but grabbed one from behind the counter and threw it at me and walked away!!! We were both shocked to be treated this was when we did nothing to upset this sales person. I do enjoy shopping brick and mortar when staff is not hovering. In this case they didn’t so much. Seemed to be too busy stocking and folding, but when time came to get things out of my hand for the dressing room staff passed by a couple of times with no help to relieve, one lady just watched while I carried purses back and forth to the fitting room trying to decided which was a crossbody. I had a styling appointment with Melissa this afternoon. I signed up for it with the goal of getting some jeans hemmed but she pulled some great pieces that I actually ended up loving even more.
