Two issues :
First: I got to the pharmacy accidentally 30 minutes before opened. Sat there and waited at their outside window and then at 9 o’clock. I tried calling in and they said sorry we have a long line inside. Will get to you later. Seven minutes later they come back and say, can you please come inside? We have a really long line. I said so you want me to come inside and go to the back of a long line. They said yes. I said, but I have been here for 30 minutes already. Can you just help me. They said no can you come inside please. Why do they have an outdoor window where they can fulfill your prescription and then after you wait there, they tell you they cannot help you there and you have to come inside and wait in another line? Wasted so much time this morning and I don’t have more time to sit here. So I left. Don’t have a window where you serve people if you refuse to use it. I would have gone inside first if I knew that’s what they expect.
Second issue: Colorado has a program where pharmacies are required to let you get a $60 EpiPen. I filled out the form, brought it in and they refused to help me. They could not figure out how to make it work. Luckily, I had my prescription sent to Walmart and the Walmart pharmacy helped me quickly and simply and I got my $60 EpiPen.
I tried to use a local pharmacy, but I just...
Read moreI've used the Fruita City Market pharmacy for years & they've been great. Sadly, that seems to be changing & I've had several instances in the past few months of Rx mixups, unfriendly service, especially on the phone, & a refusal to do anything extra to answer questions or get information. I actually don't blame the staff; most of them are friendly & helpful. I truly think that they're overworked now because Kroger refuses to bring our local City Market up to the size & staffing desperately needed for our exploding population. So now we have long waits & diminished pharmacy services ~ as well as a store that doesn't have the capacity to carry half of what we want/need. I've switched a couple prescriptions to other (non CM) pharmacies & found the service faster, friendlier & far more organized.. so will likely switch pharmacies altogether. I wonder when Kroger will figure out that cheaping out on a bigger store for the west-valley will continue to lose them...
Read moreThe only thing I have an issue with is, not having certain medications in stock. It just means you have to go through withdrawals for a little bit till they are restocked. But something I really appreciate is, I can call and ask for a prescription to be filled at a certain time. An they are really good about filling it, unless they are busy. Then I completely understand. Staff has always been friendly. An I've been using their pharmacy off and on for at least...
