Kohl's — Local services in Gainesville

Went shopping for boys clothing. Found what I was looking for but the prices were higher than what I thought they should be. The dressing room in that department was closed so I had to go back and forth while my boys were trying on clothes. That's frustrating..who wants to walk 3 miles just to try on clothes? They had very limited sizes of everything we wanted to get so we were going to order particular items, but both kiosks were on the blink and the associates either couldn't or wouldn't order them for us and told us to use the app! 🙄 The associates to which we spoke were not very friendly, but rather just checked out our items and bagged them. She did say goodbye though. Maybe she was glad to see us go? 🤔 I asked another associate I saw where their curtains and drapes were. She pointed to the isle nearby, but it was showered curtains only and they dont carry drapes and home curtains!! That was frustrating too. You don't know your store doesn't carry drapes?? On the up side, the items we did purchase were what we were looking for, and we did find some things we liked, but this is not one of my favorite places to shop and I don't relish the idea...

I am a Rotarian. Every year we accept the role of being a Stana Claus and purchase clothing articles for children in need.

Being 72, I have little knowledge of what and how to buy for small kids and toddlers. I came to Kohls because I thought you would have a quality product line, but also in hopes I would receive some help as I stumbled through the process. Never did I think I would have an angel help me the way Lisa Crawford did!

She came out from behind the customer service area, walked me around the various departments, found coordinated clothing options, good price points and even made sure I got the store discount at the checkout station.

I am a retired banker and therefore understand service. As a Rotarian, I practice Service Above Self, our guiding words. Lisa reaffirmed those values in me.

I will be a lifelong customer of Kohls, not only because of your product line and pricing, but because of Lisa.

I don't get out there to often, but when I do, I always find something I really like.Petite slacks are of a good selection, Vera Wang and Jennifer Lopez do come in smaller sizes as well as bigger ones. For some reason Small and Xtra Small clothes have become very hard to find in any of Gainesbille's Department Stores in the past 3 years. No matter that the claimed average size of an American Woman is 12 to 14, the selection for bigger sizes is available in ample styles, the smaller ones are desperately limited now. Purses,Shoes and Household items are very good.Sleepwear is again limited for us smaller ladies. Holiday items are good but a bit costly.Eventhough I don't enjoy having Salesclerks breathing down my neck, it is extremely challenging to find a Single one yo assist me or anyone, which is frustrating.Especially when you're 5 ft and can't reach anything.
