Absolutely terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend Wireless4U in Gainesville to my worst enemy.
My little brother went in to have his phone repaired due to water condensation damage. They charged him $275 upfront and returned a phone with a lifted screen that only worked for one day before acting up again.
When he went back, instead of owning up to a failed repair, they tried to charge him another $100 just to “ship it to Apple” for parts. Desperate and needing a working phone, he decided to have his phone shipped. But when we tracked the shipment, it didn’t go to any Apple location. It was delivered to random residential address in Kaufman and Mesquite.
They promised it would be ready by Friday. Friday came and went with no call, no update. We had to reach out ourselves, only to be told, “oh, sorry, Monday now.” Monday came, and the phone was in the same broken condition as before. Nothing had been fixed.
The entire experience felt dishonest and like a cash grab. If they had just been upfront and said, “hey, fyi chances are slim this phone will be fully functional again. Consider getting a new one,” we would’ve respected that.
Instead, they strung him along, wasted time, and left him out $375 with a still-broken phone. Now he has to buy a new one anyway.

Read moreTook 2 phone here to see if they could repair. 1st phone needed a screen replacement which he said would only take 15 min but 90 minutes later it came out not even done. The glue he use is cheap glue that leaves the screen lifted and its all over the edges. This place is a cash grab as they overpriced and overcharged for everything (parts and labor). 2nd phone wouldnt power on and according to the guy (front desk rep and repair person) it would take about 2 hours to fix, so we told him we would come back and just pay for the 1st now... once we were told the total i was shock and after a little back and forth I bit the bullet and paid for the first phone and ask how much the second phone would take to repair and he couldnt give me a total, however he did tell me that another phone (s25) he charged them $870 to repair. I was absolutely shocked at how big of a scam this place was as a brand new s25 is $799.... I ask for the phone back and he told he would charge me $45 to put the phone back together.... this place is an absolute scam and most if not all the 5 star review is fake or brought so dont fall for them and save yourself the trouble and look somewhere else. Your phone most likely will end up...
Read moreFirst of all this guy was very rude. Secondly, he charged me for a "repair" on my Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 hinge, and he didn't actually fix the problem, leading to further damage to the phone. So much damage in fact that it cost less to get a new phone as opposed to...
