Visited the Gaithersburg Md location to make an Amazon return. No issues with that service. Before I left the store I made a small purchase of 2 items. As I walked by the Hallmark ornaments display I noticed that one of display items had the platic tie diwn broken that the store uses to deter theft. I decided to take the item to the front cashier since I didn't want someone to shoplift it. I get in line and wait about 15 minutes. Then get called over to register 9. As I greet the cashier first since she was too busy texting on her cellphone. I then show her the display item and mention someone might shoplift it if not secured. She just looked at me dismissively and just placed the item to the side. Then she asked if I had a store credit card or wanted to apply. I kindly said no. I entered my rewards number and mentioned to her i used the store app on my phone to price check one of my items and see it's lower price vs what she's ringing it up. She again looked at me very dismissively and said that if i didn't like the price to buy it online. I explained I was already at store and the system wouldn't allow me. I asked her if she could honor the price check I showed her. She looked at me and very unhappy declined. I just paid and got out the store as I felt she really didn't want to be at work today. Now I know why the person ahead of me had let me go infront of her as she said "i don't want her to help me." I've been to this store before but today's service was bad. The cashier claimed she “didn’t know how to use kohls cash” and said she would give me 10% off instead. I said absolutely not, I have $10 here I am going to use it. Again, she said she didn’t know how to use it and couldn’t give it to me. My kohls cash expires 2/28, so it is still perfectly good but this woman just kept saying “I don’t know how to add it.” So I asked for a manager and she said there were none to help me. Yeah, I seriously doubt that. I come back home and use my $10 kohls cash online for store pickup for a different shirt. I get an email hours later saying the shirt was out of stock (never once mentioned that on the website, so I highly doubt it) and they returned me $7.99 kohls cash (price of shirt). I should get the entire $10 returned if it is “out of stock” supposedly instead of the exact shirt price. So, I go to contact them about the kohls cash online and it says “uh oh, we are experiencing technical difficulties. Try again later.” Really?? So I try using the chat function. It ALSO does not work! This is absolutely despicable behavior from a corporation. I will NEVER spend a penny here again after this horrid experience. My family and friends are all canceling their Kohls Charge Cards as well. Target has NEVER done anything of this sort to us. We are taking our business and all of our friends and family to Target...
Read moreSo here's the thing initially I went into the store to bring in an Amazon return which they package and send out for free for the customer which is awesome. That transaction went smoothly I was the only one in line and then after everything was done she handed me a coupon for 25% off anything in the store wow I felt like that was a win-win but then here's the problem I went over to the jewelry counter the young lady didn't have the key to the cabinet that I wanted to look at the other employee had it wasn't in the area had to wait a long time after multiple Pages for finally the young lady left to find that employee and get the key from them while they were on break I almost left the store and said forget it but in the end the young lady rang up my things and everything else on the counter for grand total of 90 some dollars then I noticed the bag was way too big and heavy so unfortunately she rang up my stuff and a whole bunch of other stuff too then she proceeded to minus out of the total all the inappropriate items that I was not purchasing I finally asked her in frustration if you could please just void the sale and start over since I was only buying 4 items she did and thankfully I was able to get out of that store with an additional 15% off so was it worth the wait ? well we'll see she was a very nice young lady but the whole situation was incredibly disorganized hence the...
