I always have a good experience at Loft, even when I buy or don't buy something at the store. The store is welcoming, with friendly and helpful employees. I couldn't find a skirt I was looking for & was able to show a photo to one of the employees and the knew exactly where it was. I'm the kind of person that will look at their website, pick a few favorites and try them on in the store. I that could try on many pieces but just buy one or not even one, but I still love the style Loft has. Very sophisticated yet trendy. You can get a few key pieces to your wardrobe here such a good black pant, skirt, blazer. Also check the maintenance that you have to give each article of clothing. I would say most pieces I have bought have lasted various years, 1 shirt in particular didn't make it past a few months because I washed it & it shrunk up all weird. So just pay attention to those tags. I also wish they made their skirts, like Tweed, longer. Their skirts tend to fit too high above my knee. I bought one recently that's winter appropriate since it's thicker fabric and I can get away with it by using tights. And please go when there are sales! Sometimes you can get to 50% off an article of clothing. Always go when they have sales, which they have quite often! I also love that they partner with St. Jude as a fundraiser!
I will regret not buying that white shirt ! I came back and they didn't have my size and it's out of stock. But they have lovely pieces! The Tweed skirt is comfortable and goes with various shirts I own. The blazer I have not bought since I don't have pieces to really fit it in my wardrobe but maybe later I'll return...
Read moreHorrible customer service!! Anytime I go here their staff are rude and unhelpful. I have also noticed that they chose who to be nice to. There are a couple of nice sale associates but that's about it, for the most part the staff is not friendly, specially the managers. The last straw was today, when I placed an order at 2:00pm for pick up in the store, it was around 8:30 that I noticed my credit card had been charged but I did not received an e-mail notifying me my order was ready, so I decided to call the store. The sales associate, who answered the phone found out the status of my order, she proceed to tell me that they were really busy during the day and didn't have a chance to process on line orders, and as far as the charged of on my credit card I should call corporate because they were not responsible for it. Then I asked her if my order would be processed first thing in the morning on Sunday, and she said: "no my manager is telling me more like 1:00pm in the afternoon", I could hear the manager speaking in the background. It seems to me that the manager needs help with time management skills, and needs to get more organized. I understand customers in the store are first priority, but If you're offering in store pick up, you should block time to take care of those orders. The only reason I kept coming back to this location is because it's very close to my house. But today I decided I will not be a loft customer anymore, they are about to go cheap anyway with that "rent your wardrobe" cheesy idea. I bought a sweater at this location, but when I went home and tried to wear it, it was terribly itchy and could not even walk around my living room with it. I brought the tag, receipt and sweater back the next week. The associate working there told me I could only receive store credit since the tag was not attached. I was confused as I had never heard a policy like this - I still had the tag and the sweater was in perfect condition. She turned to the other associate next to her and she confirmed the policy. I did not want to cause an issue and assumed they knew what they were talking about so i accepted it. I called customer service on my way home as this policy was very odd - they told me that that was NOT a company policy. I was lied to by two associates. I was told I would hear back from corporate ASAP. I received an vague email telling me someone would follow up with me a few days later. It has now been 2 weeks and I still am getting the run around from Loft customer service.
