FineWine — Restaurant in Gaithersburg

On 9/1/2012, I went with my wife to do some wine tasting. It was 8:30pm and the store was open until 9:00pm since it was a Saturday. We sat down and the waiter (clerk) came by and advised us that we cannot taste anything since they close down in 30 minutes and left us to shop around in the store. Now, we did not really appreciate this blunt refusal and left. I was thinking that business must be going great in this tough economic times to turn people away 30 minutes prior to closing... Truth of the matter is that we did not go there to start a family or lounge until 10pm, or get drunk. We could have tasted 1 - 2 different wines and still be out in 30 minutes.

Let the costumers decide the faith of this store (which has great quality wines by the way), but we are not going to shop...

LOVE! I walked in unexpectedly on a Saturday afternoon after doing some grocery shopping. I was greeted with extremely friendly staff who introduced themselves and offered to set my groceries down while i shopped. I asked for any recommendations for beer, which they gladly provided me with (and after getting home and trying them out I am very pleased with what I was recommended). After I made my selections, they offered to chill ALL of my beer in their fancy chiller device, which only took 5 minutes, and then helped me carry my beer and groceries out to my car!
