Having been a loyal Vineland Santori's customer for years I decided to give the Galloway store a try after moving to the area. All I can say is wow what a difference. The Galloway store was a huge disappointment. The asparagus I bought was mush by the following day, cauliflower molded and about a lb. of the potatoes had brown centers. The deli was small but satisfactory. The store itself a bit dingy and not as clean as the other store. The main difference was the staff. The deli clerk seemed to be bothered by the gentleman in front of me specific request. When I went to check out I gave a big hello to the young lady who did not respond. She began talking and that is when I saw the phone device in her ear. Instead of a hello I had to listen to a.personal conversation. When she was done ringing me up I took my items and told her to enjoy her day. She took her phone and walked away without a word. Between the attitudes of both employees and the store in general I will not return. I gave two stars because I did purchase a few items on the shelves I enjoyed and the prices were not bad. If you don't mind just going in and grabbing what you need with no employee interaction it is okay. Just inspect the produce...
Read moreI used to love this place I really did. I would go there every single week to stock up on all of my produce. However, I'm more than one occasion quality has recently deteriorated. It's my fault for not checking the packages more clearly. However, I spent over $50 only to find moldy and rotten strawberries and blackberries, rotten tangerines and peaches with mold on them. The food was not even edible. I had to throw it all in the trash and it would have been a major inconvenience to bring everything back at that point. The vegetables were okay that I bought but the tomatoes were soft and could have been better. But really my big disappointment was all the food that I had to throw away. This is the perfect example of you get what you pay for though. Cheaper is not...
Read moreTheir bread is phenomenal! I stop there at least 2 or 3 times a month for a seeded loaf. My brother calls it fancy bread bc it's so good. Their pastries are delicious as well, I usually go for something chocolate in chocolate lol. Their cupcakes are good, could be a little more moist, bit overall sweet and good. Their brownies are decadent and fudgy. The tiramisu is moist and delicious. Not to mention their sandwiches from the deli. I have gotten the chicken salad sandwich and I like the crunch from the celery, but the chicken could've been seasoned a little more. The Italian is good too. Stuffed with 3 meats and made however you want it. Great store, but please know its cash only and they...
