Being that they're not a real Verizon corporate store, they make money off of your upgrades and trade-ins. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. I called in to speak to a manager, and they said they were the manager, then I go into the store and speak to a woman who says there is no manager on the floor today. The sales rep Austin took my son's trade-in and shut down my daughter's phone because he mistakenly put it on the wrong line. We didn't know this at the time because she wasn't in the store. We had multiple calls afterward to get my daughter's phone activated again. The upgraded the wrong line, which caused her line to increase and my son's line to increase. I had to get to tier 2 support for them to fix my daughter's phone and put her phone back to the original package price. I then got an email from the store saying that my son's trading was rejected. The rep kept the pixel 6 and traded in an old phone that didn't have the same value. So my son paid in cash the difference in cost and all activation fees, he gave hid phone for $1,000 trade-in never went through. So it increased my bill by $50 per month. It's absolutely crazy unprofessionalism. This place is a scam. They knew we lived out of state and would be impossible for us to fight the fight. We were on vacation, and my daughter didn't have a phone for a week until we could get back into the area and speak to corporate. It was not a huge deal, but it was a super inconvenience, especially messaging her on vacation. The best thing people can do is not do business with the store. Call corporate, talk to them online, and do anything else to work out your phone needs. If you want to go to a store, go to an actual corporate store. This is just a storefront with slimy sales guys. Walk away... run away... or drive... just don't stop. They keep their doors locked at all times. It is a sign......
   Read moreI just left the Verizon location 2 weeks ago. I was here to get a phone that I just bought fixed. It wouldn't charge anymore so the guy told me they had a promotion that day and that I would get a free phone since my phone was under warranty. That means I could have just had my phone replaced. But instead they gave me a phone and charged me $40 more a month for another line without telling me that initially I did not know that was going to happen. I was signed up for a 36-month paying $40 more a month for a supposedly free phone that I should have gotten. That's what they do to people that are ignorant and come in here. So I'm ignorant but I wouldn't let everybody know. These people are really bad for doing that and not giving me my money back. The customer's always right it only happened 2 weeks ago. The guy's name is Austin. He was a real prick. So like Austin said be very careful where you sign the dotted line. That's how it was told to me so there wasn't any empathy at all. It was all onus put on the customers so there is no helping you. It's a matter of screwing you depending upon your ignorance toward how to get a phone these days, so I would claim to Austin that the customer is always right and no matter what you should have given me a refund right there and then based on that.    Read moreRene, my customer service repr, was OUTSTANDING.... Knowledgeable, with excellent customer service. He knew exactly what the problem was and gave me suggestions as to how to remedy the problem. I then suggested (because I accidentally dropped my phone in my dog's water bowl) that replacing the phone would be the best option. He agreed. But this is where his sales' skills and superb customer service were most apparent. He didn't try to oversell - rather simply suggested the latest Iphone 8 (that came out 1 1/2 years ago) and go from there. It took " a while" to transfer all the info from my original Iphone 8 to the new phone - he was patient and thorough and a pleasure w/ whom to work. The reason I'm going into SO MUCH detail, is that I have been in direct sales for over 50 years. I know a good, quality sales person when I meet them. Rene was excellent and provided EXCELLENT customer service. I was at Galveston store 2 hours. And he truly proved that outstanding sales people that no matter what our product or service we sell... we are truly in the "people business."
