Like others, our pottery barn experience has been awful. They were glad to quick take $6000 when we ordered our full bedroom set. After that it’s been nothing but horrible customer service. Initially it looked like our order would only be a week or two late, given the supply chain issues we were understanding of that. 3 weeks after the initial delivery estimate we get a notice that our whole order is on a truck heading to our house for delivery. Not needing two bedroom sets I sell my original set the morning of our pottery barn delivery. PB truck shows up and all the unload is two small boxes and half of a bed frame. The two guys say they have no idea where the rest of it was, to be fair they were so high it could have been right in front of them and they wouldn’t know. I was promised a call in the morning from someone to figure my problem out, well no one ever called, in fact over 6 weeks I’ve spent 12-14 hours on the phone with pottery barn, I’ve been told at the end of each one of those phone calls that a supervisor would call me back… I’ve NEVER received a phone call from them. Now I’ve been sleeping on a mattress on the floor with my clothes on piles on the ground for 6 weeks. I finally got through to a supervisor (you will learn PB customer service is trained to not let you get through to the supervisors, it’s almost impossible) this lady tells me i’m sorry we can’t do anything, you just need to keep waiting. But assured me my entire order is in stock and ready to ship… again.
COVID and supply chain issues have put strain on many businesses, how those businesses communicate to their customers is what will keep them going, I sincerely hope that pottery barn does not survive this. Check around online and you will see how many people are having the...
Read moreAlthough I love Pottery Barn products and have been a loyal customer I’m sad to say my experience with the sales associate whom was working this evening put such a bad taste in my mouth I don’t know if I’ll ever be excited to buy products from this company again, or at the least never step foot in this store again. My husband and I came in with our two very well mannered children to buy two comforters for our guest rooms for our Spring update. We walked in and my child literally mildly leaned against the comforter on the display bed to see how soft it was to which (keep in mind we were all standing next to him and fully aware of what he was doing) he was immediately snapped at by the woman to not touch the bed because it “was too expensive for him to touch.” Normally I would express my displeasure to someone who would give such a rude offensive comment to my family member, but I try to display to my children what it means to rise above those whom neglect us. So if management is reading this, please know that because of whomever this sales woman who was guarding the display bed this evening we will no longer be shopping at this location and she single handedly lost over a $1,000 profit...
Read moreI have learned from past experience that typically more expensive furniture holds up well and is more comfortable. Not this time. We ordered a small sofa and a chair from Pottery Barn, and they were NOT cheap. After we finished the order, we were hit with a $300 delivery fee. We had ordered a red couch and since they are hard to find we went ahead and paid for the delivery. It took forever to get the furniture, and when it was scheduled to be delivered, it didn’t come! They had called to set up a delivery, but it was a no show!!! In fact, I had to set up the delivery day six different times because they would set it up and not come or inform me that they did not have my furniture. They did not know where it was. And we paid $300 for this. I kept wondering why they are setting up a delivery when they don’t know where my furniture is? Now that we have the furniture I have to say that I am not impressed. It is not very comfortable like other sofas I have had in the past. The cushions are very soft and I am constantly having to push them back underneath the back pillow cushion.I would never ever ever buy furniture from pottery barn again. What an expensive...
