We stopped to visit the local Farmer's Market. Every vendor was friendly and kind! It is great supporting our local community. That is why we chose Gaylord as our new hometown... coming from the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Small, friendly and community oriented.
Today we found some Dandelion jelly. The lady at this booth told us how her child plucks off each individual petal from the yellow flower. Wow! The jar of jelly was $4.
My husband could not resist buying a Cinnamon Pecan Coffee Cake from another vendor for $7. He loved all of the earthy spices in it. Yum!
My granddaughter picked up an Apache Tear stone from a grandfatherly vendor. He was super nice. He had Petoskey and Pudding Stones too. Some raw, some polished. Some in jewelry and some as nightlight. She paid $10. The Apache Tear is a fabulous stone for grounding and protection against negativity. It works with 3 of our chakras.
We saw some HUGE asparagus and some really long rhubarb for sale. Fresh farm eggs from a couple of vendors. One vendor was offering all cuts of meat. The giant poppy seed muffin looked good!

Yeah baby, you will want to eat your vegetables once again. Hehehe!!
There is plenty of parking so no...
