It was new inside. Courts look nice. No frills. Might want to put a couple TVs in the place. $40 a little expensive for just me and my ten year old son to hit around for a bit. We didn’t even stay for the hour. The guy at the desk had no interest in letting us play with the drop ins. I asked him if he could watch him hit for a min and see if he thought my son could be competitive with the other drop ins. He didn’t want to do that. My ten year old son could have easy hit with all of the players. He has been playing tennis since he was 3 years old. I understand it’s not pickleball. Another suggestion would be to have cheaper rates for kids they are your future customers. Or maybe a 2 person rate. With 5 open courts a new customer with his ten year old son who came in to play with the drop ins it just seemed strange the guy didn’t want to give a price break. Just saying. I can go to the Vaughn for half the price. Also I called around and there is a place in Naperville that is $30 an hr. Not sure I will go back. To bad I live...
Read moreWe've been going to the Pickled in Wheaton but live closer to this one and went today. It costs $40 here and $36 in Wheaton for a court for 1 hour. It is what it is. The bathrooms, however, in my opinion, tell the underlying story. It was like walking into a truck stop. Tile was 20 years old and disgusting. The toilet seat had packing tape around the back of it. Faucets were corroded. Mirrors weren't clean. Counters weren't clean. This was 9am on a Tuesday. I would have expected a new place to have at least dropped an investment into having the bathrooms not looking like the place was 20 years old. And even with that, it could have just been CLEAN. If you want to charge $40 for a court, upgrade your bathrooms. Toilet seats are cheap. Try deep cleaning the floors and painting. Maybe 3 new faucets? It's a shame you cheaped out. Bathrooms don't need to be extravagant, but this shows your lack of...
Read moreI recently visited Pickled in Batavia, and I can't say enough great things about this place! As someone who loves playing pickleball year-round, finding a top-notch indoor facility nearby has been a game-changer. The courts are well-maintained with plenty of space, and the lighting is perfect for extended play.
The staff is incredibly friendly and makes everyone feel welcome, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player. I also appreciate how well-organized the events and open play sessions are—it’s easy to meet new people and enjoy competitive games.
If you're looking for an indoor pickleball facility near you, Pickled in Batavia is the place to go, especially if you are nearby or in the Naperville area. Highly recommend checking it out!
Also recommend doing the admiral membership which allows you access to the Wheaton and Woodridge locations. Solid value for the money and quality of...
