4/12/2025: I've been buying the meatball sandwich once every month. I usually end up chewing on a tiny bone shard here and there. Today, I chewed on three bigger shards within two bites. The second bite had two shards and I accidentally swallowed one. Are meatballs supposed to have bone shards in them? I don't want to worry about cracking my teeth from bone shards while I'm eating.
I also noticed their bread is more narrow now. Just last month, I would feel full just from eating a half (6inch). Today, I ate the whole 12 inch and I'm still not full.
2022: Ordered online. Got there 6 minutes early. No one in line. Two online orders in queue on the table. They did not start making my one single sandwhich. One employee kept getting sode while I was there for the 6 minutes. The other one working at cashier talked to me before taking a phone call on personal phone. After the call, she forgets that she had already talked to me. I ordered The Wreck and it was seeping with oil. Pools of oil in the wrapping and thru the wrapping. Thank god they gave me enough napkins. I was handed the order a minute before timed. I told them it should not have taken them that long and the cashier person said you came in early, and it's one minute before timed. Clearly the employees here don't care. Edit: Forgot to mention there were two others making sandwiches. There were 4 people total at the front. The one that got a drink from soda fountain twice was not making sandwiches. Read moreBy far the worst customer service. We used to order from here a lot and definitely wont be spending my money here. Yesterday I made several attempts to order over the phone, as it's an option on their automated telephone system, and I was told yesterday the employee they don't take orders over the phone. When I told the employee this was not possible as it was an option on their phone menu, the employee (apparently his name was Brian) then told me they do not take orders over the phone when it's busy. So I decided to postpone ordering. Today I made several call attempts to try to place an order, and no one picked up. I figured they might be "busy" so I decided to drive there to place my order. I showed up, and to my surprise the store was dead. I went in and placed my order. The female employee that made my sandwich was also rude. At the cashier, I asked the employee why nobody answered when I called a few minutes ago, the employee said the phone was not working. Obviously the phone was working as all my calls successfully went through. Read moreWalked in at 715 for dinner. Apparently the staff decided to clean the dine in area and shut it down for the night. We asked the guy taking orders if we could dine in, he seemed to decide it was not worth his time or effort to answer our question. The girl on the other side of the sandwich machine was asked, she seemed confused and said, "well they're clearing it". We asked if they would be opening it back up, at this point the girl at the register said no it was closed. The staff was incredibly rude.
The store hours on the website indicates the location is open until 9pm. It seemed as if the staff decided they didn't want to be kept past 9pm so they cleaned up 2 hours early.
If it is store policy for the dining area to close 2 hours early, they need to pay that information so customers are aware and can make appropriate dining decisions. In mid December, it is too cold to eat outside. We left without ordering anything.
Incredibly rude and incompetent staff. I will not be visiting this location again and most likely will never return...
