T.J. Maxx — Local services in Germantown

I am giving this store a 3 star rating not because of my shopping experience , but because the clerk (1152) that checked me out did some really shady stuff. She asked if I had any rewards and I replied I don’t know I haven’t used my card for a while. She responded that rewards are only good for a specific amount of time and you lose them. She then asked for my id ( the entire time my tjmaxx card was in my hand even as I gave her my I’d). She asked if it’s been longer than a year since I used my card. I let her know that I had used the card a few months ago. She then proceeded to enter info into her computer and pressing buttons on the credit card processor. She gave me a printed receipt and told me I had to call the number at the bottom of the receipt that evening. Then, she continued to ring up my purchase! When finalizing my purchase, I asked her if I could still use my tjmaxx card or not. She told me to swipe my card and I did with no problem. She said oh your lucky day with NO mention that she submitted a credit application for a card that I already have!! Clerk #1152. How many times has she done this to customer’s just for commission or whatever incentive she receives. She should...

TJMaxx is one of my favorite places to shop and like most small department store, you have to take your time and look through every rack. Yet, I was disappointed by this location neatness and organization. Things were in the proper area but just seem to be all over the place and disorganized. This was a Wednesday evening, not sure how busy they would’ve been before 6pm... cleanliness of the bathroom was disappointing, I literally didn’t wanna use the restroom after entering. The store was crowded with long check out lines but the team worked hard to serve customers quickly and the line moved fast. Now to the not so great part. The whole time I felt like I was in the employees way. They nearly knocked me down as I shopped several times, in housewares, in men's wear by the registers and near the former try on room. I became so uncomfortable that I abruptly ended my shopping. They need to change the layout of the store and do some employee training. Then maybe they'll get a 5 from me.
