Amazing service. I got to the store late, just before closing. I explained to the one of the sales agents what I was looking for. Now, not only did I show up late after I am sure was a hectic day for the staff just before Christmas. Again, not only was I late but also 5 days before Christmas asking for a very specific and personal piece that I needed crafted. In my defense DeAngelis Jewelers was the 7th store that week I had been to and each turned me away because it needed a specific engraving with a specific talent and while most of the stores had an engraver, because of the delicacy and the personal nature of the piece, they all turned me down in fear of not getting it perfect and messing something up.

Back to the DeAngelis staff, Terese immediately came over, listened my story about the piece I needed and she along with the other ladies jumped in to try and find a way to get this done, AND BEFORE CHRISTMAS FOR GOSH SAKES! Terese went to the back to talk with the jeweler/engraver to see if it was even possible. I was expecting another no, at least not before Christmas. When she returned she said absolutely he will do it. “Let’s roll”!

So now the ladies went into full action mode to find and order the gold piece to put the special inscription on. It would have to ship overnight to make it happen. Well, I just so happened to have just retired from a little ol’ Memphis express company called FedEx. So with my account number the clock started. The piece arrived the next day and with all the things that this jeweler probably had in front of him to get done before Christmas he took on the challenge after a back and forth exchange of a sharper image of the engraving that would help perfect the inscription.

A text message came about 4 hours later letting me know it was ready. I told them I would be there before they close. When I got there, Terese immediately went to get it to show me. The other ladies came over as well and when I saw it I was so pleased with the way it turned out. I thanked the whole staff, Terese came over and gave me a big hug. I exchanged “Merry Christmas” with all in the store and brought it home to gift wrap. The gift was saved for last at the end of the night Christmas Eve. Needless to say it was “perfect” and garnered the perfect response. All that to say, thank you so much for the above and beyond efforts that took place at the most hectic time of the year.

I read about how the jeweler at this shop is skilled with ring sizing. I took my engagement ring to reduce the size. The jeweler used a ring sizer and told me what size my ring needs to be changed to. I shared my concern about the top spinning and asked several times if they were sure that this was my size and they said "yes". I ended up with a ring that was too big and spinning throughout the day. I retired to this shop the very next day to inform them that it was too big. The jeweler said that I was at fault and that I told them I was this size when they actually helped me pick the "correct" size. I was given the option of paying an additional $100 in total to fix my ring...

DeAngelis Jewelry has been my jewelry store for over 35 years. I’ve dealt with all generations on this wonderful family. My latest purchase was a redesign of my late mother’s rings into a diamond cross and drop. David did a magnificent job and Michael was a dream to work with. Michael made sure the final look of the pieces was perfect. Marion helped me with selling pieces and Cindy restrung pearls and helped with getting pieces repaired. Marion stayed in contact with me through out the process. The cross and drop are once again precious heirlooms representing both of my parents.
