Huey's was recommended to me by my daughers physician who said they bring their kids there during volleyball tournaments. So I thought why not try it when I'm in town for a soccer tournament? Arriving around 2pm, the place was busy, with about a 5 minute wait for a party of 5. After being seated our drink order was taken a few minutes later. And that's where things began to break down. After our drinks were delivered, our server took our appetizer order (thank goodness we got one) and left. Evidently she got sat a few times right after us, along with a couple of other tables trying to cash out meant that our appetizer had come and been consumed long before our server came back to take our food orders. I ordered the Bluff City burger on texas toast on the servers recommendation. It wasn't bad, it wasn't great. For a place known for it's burgers, I expected more. What I ended up with was a small patty on otherwise large bread with a splattering of toppings on the beef. The fries, which are not included in the price, mind you, were actually good, but the burger left much to be desired. After finishing my burger and waiting a few minutes, I got up to use the facilities and paid my server my ticket as we were in a hurry to get back to a tournament. $62 for potato skins, 3 mediocre burgers, and 3 sodas -- from a place known for its burgers isn't that great to me. If you are a burger affectionato, move on down the road. If you are looking for a decent burger in a casual environment and don't mind waiting a bit b/c lack of staffing, this place is for you.

I love Huey's. I usually go to the one downtown or Cordova. I always have a good time and they cook the food to perfection. This is my second time going to the Germantown location. First time it was just okay, so I decided to come back this past weekend to give them another chance. Well... I was wrong. We know they are busy on a Saturday afternoon, but when we first arrived noone even greeted us. Went to the patio and there were several tables that my family could sit, but they were all so dirty and noone stopped to clean them off. Eventually, we found a table in the corner that was somewhat clean. It took a minute but finally a server came by and took our orders. When I tell you I had better Huey's food... I mean I had better. I always get the same order when I go. I ordered the patty melt. Usually, it comes with the cheese melted.. that's why they call it a "melt," right? Nope.. it was a slab of cold process cheese on top of the burger. I felt like I was being "punk'ed." So, the server put in another order... took like 20 minutes until I received the order. The burger looked better than before... but low and behold a long strand of hair was on my burger. It looked like it was placed there. What happened to the kitchen staff? Do they feel like customers will eat just anything? I am sorry but I will never go to this location again. Forgive me Cordova or downtown locations... I won't go to a different location again. I do not recommend the Germantown location. Just because it's in a "nicer" area.. doesn't mean the food will be good.

My family love Huey’s and has for the past 20+ years. From Sunday to Sunday this past wee alone Collierville June 9 for lunch, Thursday Southaven 2 (twice to go). Friday lunch. @GT. Saturday family day dinner/Sunday 6/16 to go. Food is great and we have several Vegans who love the Beyond Burger. On Saturday we went to Southwind to try the Mac and Cheese Burger, they didn’t have it yet. No problem we’ll go back to Germantown we ware trying to avoid the crowd.. We arrived seated ordered. It took a bit this time for the food to come out. No problem we’re hungry. Two of us had the Mac and cheese burger and were sharing the cheesy tots. Everything came out looked amazing. . To our dismay the Mac and cheese was dreadfully cold!!! The server apologized and got them replaced. However the tots were there and would be cold by the time the burgers came back🤦🏽‍♀️ They were hot, so we ate them. A super nice Manager apologized for the wait upon delivery of out hot burgers. I requested a to go box, either he didn’t hear me or thought I was joking.😁 kinda ruined it with the food being served separately for me. Had she offered to remake the tots also we would have agreed. I took my burger and Rock slide to go.

I came here for the first time with a coworker, while visiting town for my job. I had heard this was a Memphis staple and should definitely try it. It was very busy, and the inside was super loud, so I opted for a table outside so we could chat without screaming. To say this was one of the worst experiences I have had in a restaurant, would be an understatement. Our waitress was not having a good day. She seemed extremely overwhelmed and everything appeared to be chaotic. We ordered and never saw her again until we flagged her down. Someone else brought our food out, and we couldn’t even ask for some condiments before they left abruptly. We ended up serving ourselves to the cart outside to get some A1, and almost had to get our own refills. There was a brunette in a blue polo that was super helpful, and seemed to be doing everything she could to help. The food was ok. I got a Philly cheesesteak and it was so well done I could barely chew it. The flies were out. of. control. I know this is something you risk when sitting outside but I have never in my life seen flies like this, it was crazy. We waited over 40 min for a to go order, which we prefaced when ordering our food that we had an order to go. She never came back & we ended up flagging someone else down to get her. Then she said they put it in the to go room and it got lost so that’s why it took so long. My friend needed a box & we waited on that to the point that we had to cover her food with napkins to keep the flies off. It was super busy, I do understand that. But there was zero communication happening on the patio. Everyone out there seemed to have been there for the 2 hours that we were there as well and flagging people down to get refills. We even heard one man say “oh, there she comes, finally” I think the poor girl could’ve used some help! She was trying & it wasn’t her fault. I doubt I’ll be back & do not recommend if you’re not wanting to spend 2...
