The game master was not paying attention, and we were the only people there. She did not provide us with clues until well after we asked for them. When she did provide us clues, they were for things that we had already done. They eventually had to come into the room and deal with things that weren’t working right. We did the same correct code about 10-15 times and it never triggered because the game master wasn’t paying attention. Finally she triggered it after we asked for a clue and the clue was exactly what we had already done many times. One of the doors that we were supposed to use items to open was open from the start of the game. A piece of the molding was broken. This is the single worst escape room experience we’ve ever had. We cannot recommend avoiding this location enough. The room was cool, but the game master was sooooo bad that they shouldn’t be doing this professionally.

Worst escape room experience we’ve had in our 20+ escape rooms completed. The game master was truly terrible, and they didn’t even come talk to us afterwords.

Update: Had someone from Escapology reach out and give us a free game at a different location, and they refunded our game that had the issues. While I would still say that this location is not ready for showtime yet, they have their customer service on point. That part was handled super well. Because of that, I have raised the 1 star review to a 3...

Had a great time, we tried the Manson escape room. I really appreciated that most of the puzzles felt very natural and on theme, unlike some escape rooms I’ve been too. And I’d like to say that the staff were so freaking awesome! Our host was named Sabrina but even the lady at the front seat was super friendly and everyone there made the environment very fun! Some criticism I have was that we seemed to accidentally solve puzzles without trying to brute force the answers (I.E. a lock was already undone) but besides that, the puzzles were very nice to solve! For a place that opened Monday, it seems they are very grounded and knowledgeable on what they’re doing! But man that music puzzle upset me lol, I had the answer but if you do the Manson room, just go slow with some of the puzzle inputs. That’s all I’ll say to avoid spoilers, though, but I’d say a good 90% of the puzzles were very good and please please go visit them, they are so nice, and it’s an hour of good times !!

After having done 25+ escapes I can safely say this is 100% the worst escape room I’ve ever done. We played the Scooby-Doo room and our experience with the Game Master was awful they were not paying attention to our game at all. When we asked for a clue each clue took 5+ minutes. The clues that finally came were not relevant to the puzzle we were working on. And we needed to request multiple times for the same information. We loved the theming and set design, but a few things were broken, which is wild because the location is brand new. the book puzzle was sticky and didn’t work, the game master had to manually trigger the mechanism. Probably won’t do any more at escapolgy Certainly won’t do any more at this location They need some serious work and Game Masters who actually care about the player experience. EDIT: the next morning the manager reached out about our experience and offered to do a do over, and asked ups to give them another chance. We’ll be trying a different room on them...
