We've been customers at Fired since the (I believe) first location opened in Chandler on Ray/101 years ago. It was always amazing. Then one opened closer to us on Ocotillo and Alma School. We were there for the grand opening. Then we moved a few miles east and went less frequently. My daughter and I decided to go to the Tanger Outlet Mall today and make a day of it. When we saw Fired, we were both very excited. We weren't too hungry, so we decided to split a pizza and a salad. We walked in and told the employee what we were having. She pointed out that there was no iceberg lettuce, only spinach/mixed greens, so we opted for just a pizza and things went progressively downhill from there. They were out of basil, they were out of all cups, except large (I reluctantly took one large, instead of two mediums and figured we could share), then the employee (pink tips in hair who may have been new) didn't ask me about rewards, so I pulled up my app and asked how to use the new app. She said she didn't know. I said it was fine, but how could I still get my reward points and she said she didn't know. She left to ask another employee, who also seemingly didn't know or didn't indicate that she knew. So, I said, could I just get a receipt and contact the company to add the points. She didn't know how to give me a receipt, so she called someone else to come out and print one. Printer was out of paper. She refilled the paper and then couldn't print the receipt anyway and told me she could email it. That was fine, so I did that. I went to the soda fountain with my large cup and saw Gatorade option had a sign that it was out of order, so I went for the Diet Pepsi. I got water. I went back to the counter and told them there was no Diet Pepsi and she told me she would check. She came back out to tell me they were out and brought me a bottle of it. Nice gesture, but still, it's not just one thing- it's a hundred at this point. Fast forward to me waiting at the counter for my pizza. The young lady doing the baking was going between making pizza, cutting it, working the register, and pulling up her pants and scratching her arms- all without gloves and without washing her hands 🤮. I figured I was invested already and tired and just wanted the pizza. So it comes out and I ask for the basil the first employee told me to ask for at the end. No basil!!!! You can't make this up. So I asked for half a Buffalo sauce swirl and half a balsamic swirl. They had both, but see the pic of the balsamic sauce. Idk what that was. Not a dark, rich, thickish texture. It looked like vomit. I was totally over the whole experience by then. I understand that this is a busy location, likely few regulars, as people pass through going to CA or to events next door or just traveling there to shop and nobody will probably care about this, but it was a travesty honestly. I felt completely ripped off.

A warning to the owner or owners of this business FIRED PIE at Glendale outlet stores, every time I have come in to eat, the entire dining area, yes around all the tables, is always dirty, floor and tables, yes the staff never worries about keeping it clean, today everyone who sat down to eat, cleaned their own table. Totally unpleasant to eat here again, I hope the kitchen area is not like this. I share it with you and the BBB. And what is that under the pizza??? Has to clean the ovens too.

This place is so cool! Great for vegans too, they have daiya cheese if you want a plant based cheese. Service was fast and accurate. My only 2 suggestions for happier customers, have a person dedicated to cleaning up dining area and dont be so stingy with the toppings lol. I overheard quite a few people asking for "more" while building their pizzas. I should have too but i didnt want to come off as rude. But the food is delicious 😊

For any first time customer it's an extremely awkward experience. Go in and have no idea what the place is. Bar or pizzeria? No clue. Mainly because of all the decorative graffiti on the outside. As you walk in you start to realize it's a "build it yourself" type of place with pizza instead of subs (Oh, and salad). Wish it was a lot more obvious from outside. Ordered my food as basic as possible so I wouldn't get any unnecessary surprises. Got made dropped off at my table and to my surprise the pizza was flatter then plywood. Not a problem honestly just surprising. Salad was served in a bowl and with a fork that you'd use at home. Not a big fan of using reused utensils. Especially if its not a fancy restaurant. Guess having plastic is expensive. All in all food and atmosphere was mediocre. Not worth 50 bucks for a small pizza and two salads. Welp, when your hungry who cares, right?

On another note. I'm not much for smiles but they should really start peeling those gums. Especially for new customers who just want a couple...

Avoid this location. I usually receive excellent service, and decided to order via their website. Upon delivery, I received 1/3 items ordered...among the missing? My pizza.

I called them and they referred me to Slice customer service, who was also surprised that they would miss such a crucial detail. Turns out, they gave it to the wrong driver. Slice was very kind and said the restaurant would send me another. After they missed their delivery window, I called Slice again. They contacted the restaurant, who said my delivery driver "just left with my order." Completely false. As soon as I get off the call, I get a notification from DoorDash that they had to cancel my order. Two different drivers waited for the food that they did not make. I honestly don't think they would've even refunded me if I hadn't called Slice again.

Very unprofessional, that they strung me along for over an hour past the original order, just to tell me that they couldn't actually fulfill it. This should've been communicated at...
