A little over two weeks ago, I came into Kut Haus and got my hair dyed and cut by Yvonne (@donebyvonne). Up until then, I had never colored my hair and was sooooo nervous! My friend, who is a regular of Yvonne's and always has amazing color jobs, convinced me to join her to her appointment and get my hair did too. She showed me Yvonne's work on Instagram, and despite the nerves of being a dye-job virgin, I decided to go all out. I took a giant leap, didn't keep it simple, and asked Yvonne if she could do "denim" hair - which is a pretty recent hair trend that entails a sort of washed-out denim blue color with white/silver undertones... YVONNE IS A GENIE AND A GEM OF A PERSON!

While she admitted she hadn't done a denim job yet, she is a master colorist, and was able to curate the right blend to get my hair to the color i had idealized (based on photos I had found online)! Since my hair is a fairly dark brown naturally, the process of having to bleach/lighten it and then add the color seems like it'd be intimidating, but Yvonne handled it like a pro! She was very informative (explaining each step) and considerate (checking how I felt, esp while my hair was bleaching). She offered me coffee and pleasant conversation during the times we had to sit and wait, which really made me enjoy her as a stylist... OH, she also was working on a SECOND head (my friend) at the SAME TIME, going back and forth between us WITH EASE!

It's been a couple weeks, but my hair still looks amazing! Her work is so good that it looks just as good with a little bit of fading (more denim-like)! Yvonne gave me some really good tips on how to maintain the color, even referring a shampoo that would promote blue "color-stay." When I'm still receiving compliments and having fun with my haircolor a few weeks in, without a touch-up, I'd say she knows what she's doing and she does it well!! I've already referred friends and family, and I will probably only reach out to Yvonne here on out for all my color and styling needs! You da bestisss...

Love coming to this salon.. just had another great unique experience at the Kut Haus Glendora location!!!! Decided to try something new and go grey.. everyone here is so patient, sweet, and helpful!

=) Started coming here for Tytianna(I've followed her to 3 salons, she's the best!!) , but was also touched with magic by the talented hands of Albert, Vanessa, Simone, Summer, & Carmen! (This is talking about two recent visits)

Tytianna is def your girl to go to for the best hair^__^ she's so patient and is the greatest listener! When I fell into a low time in my life.. seeing her and getting my hair did totally brought me back to life ! Serious, it's like therapy! I'll always have a special place in my heart for Ty! She really tries everything to give me what I want so I am fully satisfied!

Albert is the best at blending+teaching all his hairstylists his special techniques! He really is a master at hair!!!! Also a super funny guy.. All of the staff is dope in their own ways -some are so funny but also some aren't super chatty with me which I also love being that I'm very introverted! ;)

I really loved how thorough Vanessa was at helping wash my hair-she really made sure to wipe the dye off my skin by my roots so I wouldn't look like a hot mess :). She'll never really know how muchhhhhhh I appreciate those little things that make up the big things! And Carmen is so skilled at curling hair and so fast...loved the new style she set me off with

Seriously a great atmosphere where they try to cut on time by all helping each other out( very team based )and make you feel so special.. Kut Haus is a game changer where everyone is always striving to learn how to be better and will continue to blow minds like they did to me! K gotta go show off my fabulous-ness now hehe. I had first went to Kut Haus in Covina and it was my first time going there and I was very excited seeing it had great reviews and I checked out their instagram account and seen they did great work. Well after 4-5 hours of being there my hair came out orange and my stylist said it was due to the lighting in there that made it look orange. She said in daylight it will look how you want it which I wanted rose gold. She also said if it still looked orange the next day she said to give her a call back the next day so she can tone it more. I trusted her and went home hoping that she knew what she was talking about after all she is the professional here and I left her a great tip for all the hard work I thought at the time she put into. So the next day comes and it's still orange so I of course called her back first thing in the morning the very next day. Turns out she couldn't fix my hair till Thursday and this happened Friday. I was almost in tears because my birthday is on Tuesday and I did not want to have orange hair for my birthday. They said their was nothing they can do because they were booked with clients. So I immediately called Kut haus in Glendora and I told them my situation and within 2 hours they gladly gave me an appointment to color correct my hair. They definitely exceeded my expectations from GREAT customer service and my hair came out perfect! I love the fact that they all help each other out. They have great teamwork and my hairstylist Natalia did a wonderful job!!! I highly recommend Kut Haus in GLENDORA! They know what they're doing and how to treat clients right.
