This is a rather long review, overall the food was good but this is more so a complaint about communication between the servers and bussers. I made the difficult decision to come to lunch with a somewhat tired toddler, parents will understand this struggle. I came alone and knew immediately that she was due for a nap and a bathroom visit and that I had probably made a horrible mistake not driving thru somewhere for lunch . This made me nervous because she is still attempting to master toilet training and we left the house in her big girl undies. I wanted to be proactive and asked for a box for my food and the check 10 minutes into my meal so I could be ready to run either out to my car for said nap or off to the restroom I knew she would need to use at any moment. The anxiety made me loose my appetite and I packed up 75% of my breakfast. She got increasingly louder and grouchier, at last she told me it was time for the bathroom room. We got up and I walked over to my waitress and told her that we would be right back and that I was not skipping out on my bill. We were gone not more than 5 mins to find our entire table had been cleared and set for the next guest. My toddlers half eaten pancakes, her full glass of juice, my packed up meal, my coffee, and worse of all the toys she had brought to entertain her self were all in the trash somewhere. Now imagine how upset a sleepy toddler was to see her food and toys were gone. 😭 "Where's my pancakes, where's my toys!! WHERE'S MY JUICE!" I sat back down hoping to find my waitress but she was nowhere to be found. Finally I walked up front to explain what happened, as soon as the words left me I began to cry. The staff offered to remake our food but at that point I just needed to get out of there. I could not imagine a scenario where my toddler would wait around patiently at this point so we left. I understand that it's a busy restaurant and that they're trying to turn around tables quickly, I understand it was a mistake and that they attempted to make it right by remaking my food. We were assisted by a male and female. The restaurant was very dirty. Dirty plates in carts and on tables. Napkins on the floor. The restroom was filthy. The stall we used was out of toilet paper in the dispensers. They had a roll of toilet paper off to the side. I ordered fish and chips and could not cut the fish with a knife and fork. My mom ordered a hamburger with a side of cole slaw. She received pasta instead. The male server said it was late and they were out of cole slaw. My sister ordered chocolate chip pancakes, which is served with whipped cream. My sister told the server she only wanted a little bit of whipped cream. She did not get any whipped cream and we were charged for whipped cream. My dad ordered toast and had to ask for it. When our food arrived, we did not have any utensils. The male server said he would get us some and never came back. We asked for some several other times. I got up to ask for some. I told the our female server, our food is getting cold and we don’t have utensils. She said I’ll get you some. I saw her walk to a couple of tables, I think checking on the customers. I ended up walking around and getting some off of other tables. We had a 15% off coupon and the gal did not give us our discount, she had to fix our check and take off the whipped cream charge. When I went to pay at the counter, an employee was making a personal call with her cell phone. Employees should make such calls away from the customers. Read moreI tried leaving a review on the Instagram of this restaurant but I was BLOCKED within seconds of commenting. I went in today with my friend and witnessed the manager, an about 5’10” bald guy harassing, yelling at, insulting, and following around MULTIPLE employees in the store. And I’m not just talking a raised voice, he was YELLING. When one poor employee left because she couldn’t take it anymore, she was borderline crying, he saw that the whole restaurant witnessed this. He got angry. One other woman walked up as a customer and told him how horrible he was acting and he said “Well if you don’t like it or have a problem with it, you can leave.” He then presumed to walk over to my and my friends table while we were witnessing this to “apologize”. When we told him how wrong he was and how horrible he was acting he then started to “explain” his side and how he was right and we were wrong. My friend and I told him to save it, he was lying and we saw it all. He got angry and started YELLING AT US!! I was genuinely scared he was going to hit us or throw something at me. I wish I had a brain to record it. He was dressed in acid wash jeans and a tshirt. He didn’t have an ounce of respect or professionalism. I saw him make multiple people walk out, yell at multiple employees, make one almost cry, and then yelled at my friend and I. How is he, a manager, heck, how is anyone allowed to act that way and still work there?! I am so appalled. I wanted to call the police but the employees asked me not to because THEY WERE WORRIED ABOUT THE MANAGER’S RETALIATION!! AND HE STILL MADE ME PAY MY BILL!
