I had the absolute BEST customer service experience here! My family is from Utah and was visiting the Carbondale area over the Labor Day weekend. My daughter wears daily contacts and we discovered late Friday night after arriving in town that she had forgotten to bring any more contacts! We had no idea what to do since it was a holiday weekend, and we didn't even have a doctor there.
I found 20/20 EyeCare online, one of the ONLY places open on a Saturday, and gave them a call. I told them our situation. They said they would be happy to give us some trial pairs of contacts, but they had to have a valid prescription. We tried calling our eye doctor in Utah, but of course, they weren't open. I called 20/20 EyeCare back, and they said that even though they were completely booked all day, they would squeeze us in for an exam so that they could then give us some contacts.
We raced over to the clinic, and they were already waiting for us, ready to do the exam! I thought for sure we'd have to wait quite a while (and was happy to do it since they were doing us such a huge favor!). While we were driving over, though, my husband finally managed to catch someone at our eye clinic at home who was able to send us the prescription, and we didn't need to do the exam after all. Alejandra and the rest of the staff at 20/20 were just incredible. They gave us a supply of trial contacts, even though we weren't patients there, and were so kind and helpful.
My 15-year-old daughter was so relieved to not have to spend the rest of the weekend blind! I couldn't believe the level of service and help this clinic provided to people who didn't even live there. We were just blown away! They told us if we ever needed any other help anytime we were in town, they'd be happy to help us out. They turned an extremely stressful situation into such a positive customer service experience that we went away feeling so relieved and grateful. Should you need eye care services, I would highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI give these guys 5 stars for multiple reasons. I have also seen the other reviews and find its not fair they get this backlash. Now my experience was good. I walked in and even through appointments are 3 weeks out they had a cancelation and got me in that day several hours later. Now with that it was my 3rd or 4th time ever having my eyes checked. They have fantastic equipment and I explained the past at other Dr I saw elsewhere did not take their time with me. At this place they sure did take the time to help me understand what each piece of equipment does and how it helps ect. And the Dr lady was awesome, yes they are busy and see so many people but she took the time I needed to get a perfect exam done.
Now on to the glasses side of the business. The guy upfront helped me in a cool relaxed fashion, no pushing me to get anything specific and also very educated and was able to explain everything I have not known about lenses before. I walked around found what I wanted and he made the process smooth. I got a pair of glasses with glare guard and scratch guard. And then my first pair of sunglass with prescription lenses they are a life saver. I spent 804 bucks on the pair with zero insurance. Yes it's alot but I can drive my car, see the TV, ready the street signs. Things I can not do without the glasses. So price is a tad high but think about what you couldn't do without these!!! 800 bucks for at minimum 1 year of seeing clearly who can beat that. (I'm broke by the way) and the ease of mind is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had requested an appointment for my son and I on the same day. I drive from Silt to there. I have been going there for years. When I got the appointment confirmation the time was different than when I scheduled. When we got there they called my son back, I asked if they were going to check me too. They said after we got back to the room and finished then they would. My son is 10 years old, has autism, learning disability and vision issues. The tech then proceeds to tell me that she wanted to do my vision check and leave my son in the room. I explained that wasnāt going to work. She was VERY rude stating I would have to reschedule my appointment because they see kids separately. I have never heard of a child being examined without a parent or adult present. I work in healthcare and this isnāt a thing. I was never explained this when I called. The tech was unapologetic about it and I told her I had no choice in the matter because I canāt leave my son. VERY disappointed in how this was handled and the lack of care the technician had. The doctor was wonderful and so was the woman who helped us order glasses.
Iām considering transferring care after this experience. Itās sad because Iāve been a patient there for...
