This is the second time that I have had Chip at Sounds Computers come to my rescue, and both times he has been absolutely phenomenal. The first time he revived and updated to Windows 10 an old laptop that I had. I had called to ask about advice on purchasing a new one for my business. He saved me hundreds of dollars by convincing me that what I had had would work perfectly, with a few tweaks, for my situation. He earned my trust as he proved that he is not about trying to see how much money he can make from a customer.
This time it was my MacBook Air that needed rescuing. I dropped it and the trackpad stopped functioning. I Googled it and read where others had had this same issue, had chosen to fix it themselves because of how much computer repair places had quoted that they would charge. But they had to buy the tools needed to do the repair themselves. I decided that I would rather pay the money and have Chip do it. Not only did he fix it and have it ready for pick up in less than 24 hours, but he only charged me about what I would have paid for the tools to fix it myself. And I would have been a nervous wreck trying to do it myself. Customer Service does not get any better...
Read moreI really enjoyed the service here at Sounds Computer. I had brought my computer in about three months ago as it had stopped working (later found out i was due to my hard drive failing). The owner was directly involved in fixing my device, maintaining transparent and consistent communication throughout the process. He was friendly helping me to not only understand what was wrong with my computer, but also in going through my options in fixing it so that i could do what would best fit my needs for my device. He not only helped me replace my cooling fan for my MSI laptop, he was also kind enough to SHOW me how to do it as well. As a IT major at Wayne Community College and preparing to take a Hardware/Software class next semester, this was a very helpful in helping me learn about the interior of computers.
I'd highly recommend going here if you have a PC problem. He'll put everything in laymans terms so you can understand. Will be going to him for ANY and ALL of my computer related issues...
