My sister adopted a cat from this place on Tuesday, May 27th. First she told them specifically she was looking for a boy cat since she already had another boy cat. She stated they gave her a hard time at first but she finally settled on him, the staff stated he was up to date on shots and had just got fixed. Turns out, he was actually a she. What an odd thing for them to lie about right? My sister obviously decided to still keep her but still. Then on day one we noticed her sneezing, it continued so today we took her to the vet and turns out not only did she have a sinus infection, she had so many tapeworms in her that the vet stated he was going to contact them because obviously she had all this before adoption and just decided not to disclose it??? On top of that, they knew we had cats already so they put our existing cats healths in danger. Stay away from this place at all...

The staff seemed nice and was able to answer most of my questions. What threw me off was the lady at the counter and how it seemed as if she was judging me based on the type of dog I wanted to adopt. I drove over an hour to enquire about the dog and potentially adopt her. I filled out the paperwork thoroughly but I guess that wasn't enough, I was questioned as if I was in a interrogation room on why I want the dog, where I seen the dog and every time I looked over my shoulder someone was glaring at me out the side of there eye. Growing up in the south and being a 6"4 tall black man weighing 260 I'm use to it. I also know breeds like that some people mistreat for uses other than what they are suppose to, still it doesn't give the right for folks to judge others. Filled out the adoption paperwork, called the following day and was told that we were approved and we needed to come by at our appointed time set by the staff member for the following day and were already in talks about getting spay setup with that same staff member with their service. We were not allowed to come that same day like we requested, we were ready to adopt but had to go through the channels. Fast forward to today, showed up to the appointment to only find out that the pet we were lined up for was adopted the previous day. No forewarning, nothing! We looked forward to this pet from the day we saw her on their website and were led to believe she would be ours. Good luck to future adopters as you may face...
