Did you know that Aldis does not have a phone that is answered? Not just in Goshen, but everywhere? If you call their national 800 number, you will get a message explaining this. Mind boggling, So, as in my case, I left Aldis about ten minutes before closing time, loaded my car and drove home. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that a portion of my key ring had detached. I had the key to my car, my cargo box for camping and my bike. But the three keys to my house (front, back and garage) had SOMEHOW detached and fallen inside the store. Weird, for sure, but it happened. And I had no way to get them. I thought of calling the police, but I didn't really feel that Aldi's lack of customer service was THEIR problem to deal with. So I slept (??) in my car as best I could until they opened the next morning and I could go get the house keys. I was shocked, disappointed and won't be going...
Read moreI know they probably have know time to answer phones, BUT it would make it a whole lot easier for people that might want to know if they still have something in stock.. I am talking about the bigger items that are usually in the middle aisles. For this reason, I have decided not to go to the store quite a few times since we moved, because we are not as close to this Aldi's as we were to the previous one, thinking that one item just might be gone, because I cant call them! I am not sure why the number is not published. One more thing I must mention.. Why are the stores so few and far between?? Hey Aldi's build a few more stores in the Elkhart area! We would all appreciate it, and hey building one near a Save A Lot, may take ALL of their customers away, just to frequent your store!! Tell ya what, put an Aldi's right near a Save A Lot, and see what happens! I know where I am...
Read moreI love Aldi's! Can't say that I love their new store models though. One thing that I really dislike is the new price tags, especially in the produce area. The new tags are hard to see and always seem to be falling off or maybe they get pulled off by kids? The old method with the cards on the clothesline maybe was not the most fashionable, but it worked well and you never wondered what the price was for your items. Also there is a broken handle in the frozen food section and it hasn't been fixed for weeks. You have to open the door on the section next to it and reach around to get to the frozen ground beef or turkey. I mentioned it to the cashier and she says that they have told management but it still hasn't been fixed and it has been more than a month. Just an fyi this is the Dunlap/Goshen,...
