Crossing over to Bar Island is a fun experience. Please research the high and low tide times. Allow 2 hours before and after those times to travel there and back. Along the way there are rocks and broken shells. It's an easy walk, but make sure you have some kind of footwear. Go early and walk up the trail onto the wooded path up the island.
