ZERO customer service - do not recommend. We had 3 couples lined up to take the biplane tour that is heavily advertised in Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park. Sounded like a once in a lifetime experience, so we called and were told to show up at 4:15, so we drove over immediately. Arrived at 4 and were told that they would try and accommodate us at 5:30 (we show up early but then they tell us more than an hour later when we arrive?), and were then told they don't like doing these flights as they don't make them any money - ???? Asked about returning the following day, and were told they would "try to accommodate us" and they told us at least 5 more times about how they don't like doing these flights as they make little money on them (15 minute scenic tour flights). We were getting ready to spend $450 and it was beyond obvious that they cared very little about anything else than making more money. I have no idea why they are in this business if they care little about their customers. WHY do you heavily advertise these flights if you don't like doing them? As an ex Naval Aviator, I would encourage you to try someone else. On behalf of all of those who love flying, don't let these folks ruin your experience with their total lack of enthusiasm beyond making...
Read moreJust returned home after visiting Maine. If you ever go there you must stop and take a ride in one of the Waco biplanes. This was one of the best experiences of my life. Steve the owner is a great guy and Steve my pilot was also. They went out of there way to make this a great time. Steve my pilot took some great pictures of me in the cockpit. I paid the extra money to fly the Waco myself and it was truly amazing as we did some really fun stuff up there. Not to mention all the beauty of Acadia which Steve narrated along the way as I was steering through the skies. If you love Acadia and love airplanes this is a must do. Have to admit it's a bit expensive but look at it as a once in a lifetime adventure. If I go back to Maine I will...
Read moreWe went on a two person glider flight up to 5,000 feet. It was an amazing experience and Jeff, the pilot, was excellent in every way. The flight went near but not over the park, which was what owner implied we'd be paying for. To be honest, this was no big deal since we could still see the park and the feeling of being up in the air in a glider was the big draw for us. I wasn't timing how long we were up there (as other reviewers have), but it felt like enough time to take in everything so no complaints. One star off because it was quite expensive ($320) and the nature of the flight was slightly...
