Beware of buying shoes online from them. I buy a lot of jerseys, clothing, sports equipment, and shoes from Dicks. Usually everything goes great, but 3 out of the last 4 times I ordered shoes online from them, I have had a pretty big issue. Ordered nikes for my wife, they arrived in a plain brown box. Did NOT come in a original nike box, which Is super strange. They put a card in the box, that said " these are authentic nikes...." How do you sell "new" shoes that are not in the original box!?!? The card in there makes it seem even worse, like they are trying to cover something up. Ordered basketball shoes again for my son and my self, my sons were good. However my shoes you could see were tried on, possibly lightly worn. Again how are you guys selling that as "new". This last time I again ordered basketball shoes for my boy and my self. Again, my sons were new, and mine again were this time worn. That is flat out ridiculous, you can not sell new shoes and constantly have them be worn, in a plain brown box and so on. I buy the shoes when they go on sale, so I started to realize that they must try to pass off returned and display shoes as " new". Which is alright if you put that in the description or make sure people know they are not getting new shoes. If you read this companies reviews, they tend to do this a lot to people, so be careful buying online from them. They try to make up for it, I called and they give me a few points on my score card. However that's another scam, the points do not get added to your account until after the sale has ended. So your really not getting anything from them for this huge inconvenience. I am never ordered shoes online from them again, to be honest probably going to just buy else where from now on. I live a half hour from Dicks, that's why I ordered online, rather than in-store. I've been a loyal customer of Dick’s Sporting Goods for years, and have always been pleased with their products and service, but my last visit was truly exceptional.

He didn't just point me in the right direction; he took the time to carefully measure my grandson for the perfect fit, ensuring both the glove and bat were comfortable and appropriate for his age and skill level.

Beware of this store return policy! Recently I purchased an ORU kayak that has a 90 days return policy. I opened the box and tried the kayak on the water the next day. I don't like it for multiple reasons and decided to return 3 days after purchase. The store policy stated that kayaks could be returned after opening and tested but my experience of returning the kayak to Grafton Dick's store was very unpleasant! Nobody in the store including the team manager was interested to check their own policy or help me with it. Their immediate reaction was - not allowed! They send me to corporate customer service and "online policy" and "federal law" instead of trying to do their job. BTW. The corporate customer service was unhelpful, as well. After 30 or so minutes of the arguments and phone calls they decided to accept my return only after I found it online (thanks to Google AI) and showed them their own policy related to Oru kayak. I would be very careful with my future purchases at Grafton Dick's...
