Water Street Brewery in Grafton was a fun stop for us. We were staying in the adjacent Hampton Inn for a pre-Thanksgiving getwawy and the Water Street Brewery is just a short walk away. This is big place, nice brew pub atmosphere and plenty of seating around the bar and in smaller, intimate dining areas around the centralized bar. We tried a couple of their in-house craft brews - a baltic porter and Irish Stout - both were excellent. Our server was energetic and efficient - always right there if we needed her. I had the Chicken Schnitzel sandwich on a pretzel bun and she had the lobster roll - both were excellent, filling and needed a "to go box" for the portions that we were unable to eat. Probably because I tried the Scotch Egg first - WOW - delicious and after dinner we couldn't resist trying the Deep fried Old Fashioned - DOUBLE WOW - I'd visit Water Street Brewery again just to have the Deep Fried Old Fashioned but quite frankly it was there genuine hospitality and delicious food that will bring us back on our next visit. Stop by the Water Street Brewery and give them a try, I know you'll enjoy your visit.

After two visits, I'm finally getting to my review! Hands down, great both times! First experience was a Friday night and Linds W was our server. Wasn't too busy, as we stopped in for dinner on our way to the Brewer game 9/12....ordered the cauliflower and southwest wrap. Was so good! Was also offered beer tastings....I believe you get 3, but I tried only 2. Both choices were good; Pumpkin & a Hawaii one. Enjoyed the visit so much, I stopped again last night, Friday 9/19. This time it was busy, but we only waited for a table for maybe 15 minutes. During that time, we were able to sit at the bar.....ordered an espresso martini and they nailed it! For dinner, ordered the parmesan crusted salmon; and it was amazing! Waiting time was not long either from when we placed our order to when we received it. For this visit, Charlie was our server, and he, as well, did a great job! This place has definitely made a mark on my radar, and will continue to make the trip to stop in! (About 35 minutes, so not too bad.) Great job Waterstreet....keep up the good work! Oh! And there is a gluten free menu available!!

Burger had great flavor but was under cooked. Waiter did not ask how I’d like it cooked. He also didn’t know what a beer flight was when I asked. After I explained what it was then he understood what I was wanting to order. I had my dog with me and they were very nice about the pup. They have a separate entrance to the patio for dogs to get back there. Although when they brought out water for the dog they brought a tin foil to go box for the water bowl and it kept blowing away. So if you have a dog I recommend bringing your own bowl for water. There was poison ivy growing up the deck railing by the tables which wasn’t great. And it was very windy so pollen and cotton blooms kept falling in my beer. The table was not sitting level so when I leaned on the table to grab a beer the table shifted and dumped two of the samples all over me. Not ideal for sure. If you are sitting on the patio the highway is right next to you as well so a little loud. Good beer variety overall though. And French fries were great. Over all I think the place is good but could use some adjustment for sure.

Had a surprise birthday party there for my fiancée. We were a party of 12. I had asked the waitress to bring out the surprise birthday cake after we were done eating dinner. She proceeded to bring out the cake in THE MIDDLE OF DINNER with the candles lit, and put it on the table, where we had no room in the first place for may I add. I had asked her to take it back and bring it out after everyone was done eating. Which is what i got told they do here. She said the reason she brought it out in the middle of dinner is that she needed time to cut the cake. So we were all forced to stop eating and quickly sing happy birthday so she could take the cake in the back and cut it. She walked in the back, never asking us who all wanted a slice of cake to find out how many pieces she had to cut. She then came back to our table and proceeded to hand everyone a slice of cake, some which didn’t want any, when we were still eating our dinner. I’ve never seen dessert come in the middle of dinner before. Dessert always comes after. We had some cake go to waste because of it and it doesn't help that you guys charge $2.00 a slice. I had wasted my money on slices i didn’t need in the first place. I was planning on spending a lot of money there and leaving our waitress a really nice tip.. but after the incident with the cake, not being very friendly at all, forgetting to refill drinks, not taking our empty dishes off the table until we were leaving then asking “oh can i clear these?”. In the end, she got the minimum 15 percent. Which she didn’t even deserve that much. I don’t think i’ll eat at that restaurant again. Not after she turned my what should’ve been ‘surprise birthday party’ into...

My husband and I frequent this establishment on occasion and both service and food quality is inconsistent. It never seems like they are very busy, however there is a lot of seating so they might not have the staff to serve all of those tables. They are a brewery with a large selection of their own beer. We love the Punch You in the Eye PA but honestly, all of their IPAs are very good. My husband has tried the short rib panini twice; once it had barely any meat and the second time he said it was bland. I once ordered the fish fry and my cod had bones in it. They offer a taco trio which I ordered to go once; I got two fish tacos that had large filets in them but the slaw was dry and a Korean taco which was amazing. On the side, I received a to go container with melted cheese, sour cream, rice, green salsa, and two large slabs of..steak? It was very strange. If these were condiments, it would have made more sense to put them in 2 or 4 ounce containers with lids. I’m still not sure about the side of steak. They gave me another container of rice and beans in, which I think was the side? The best meal we had was brunch, which they serve on Saturday and Sunday. My husband got a delicious breakfast sandwich with bacon. I ordered a Caesar with a side of potato pancakes; Caesar salad was good but the potato pancakes were phenomenal! The price is a little high for how inconsistent their food is but the location is perfect for your way North or South on highway 43. We also like their outdoor seating despite it being so close to the highway; it’s also hot dog friendly. I recommend giving it a try! or two or three until they get it...

During a trip in 2020 we stopped at this location and clearly enjoyed the food and service but something happened in those 2 years.

Now in 2022 another trip which took me nearby so decided to stop to eat again.

We were a group of 7 adults and the drinks and the majority of the food was once again great but there was an issue with their WSB Amber Beer Cheese and the service (Receipt name was Liz S) was poor at best.

One person was not that hungry so just wanted to nibble on the Bavarian-Style Pretzilla Twists (served with WSB Amber Beer Cheese). Another ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken (covered with WSB Amber Beer Cheese).

Both had one taste of the Beer Cheese and were very displeased. They thought it tasted like stale beer with a little cheese added. When they asked the server for a different cheese dip she stated that was the only dip they had.

The one with the Chicken Fried Chicken scraped off the breading in order to eat the meat and the other ate the Twists plain.

As for the service, after getting our appetizers, a couple wanted to review the menu more before ordering so they asked her for a couple minutes. After about 15 minutes without seeing our server I asked another one to have our server to return.

Upon her return we placed our food order and asked for another order of the cheese curd appetizer.

Next we had our food order brought out and asked what happed to the cheese curds, her response “Ohh I forgot” It was finally delivered half way through our meal.

I will come back for another try because like I first stated, the majority of the food and...
