Steinhafels Mattress — Local services in Grafton

First time visiting a Steinhafels store for both my wife and myself. We drove over specifically from Sheboygan a 50 mile trip one way. I had seen A Presidents Sale add on TV and it mentioned Sterns & Foster Beds. Which is what we wanted to look at. Selection in Sheboygan was very limited. We were met by a friendly and courteous individual, He was extremely knowledgeable about each style of bed and explained attributes very well. Also after talking with us, seemed to understand exactly what our idea of a great bed would be. He explained he had been in the mattress business for a long time. After the drive back to Sheboygan and a chance to talk about , we decided we would purchase the two twin long mattresses. My wife called the store back and told the salesman we would be buying the mattresses. That is when I learn our salesman was Thomas Steinhafel. Thank you for your time and patience with us. Looking forward to sleeping on my new Sterns & Foster Mattress from Steihafels.

We had the pleasure of working with Peter Gourlie. Peter was polite and extremely informative in helping us to arrive at the correct mattress for our needs. And most importantly he was not pushy. He also knew about his products which was not what we experienced at other stores.

We give Peter five stars (we would give higher if it was possible) and only purchased at this store because of him. Thank you Peter.

However we were VERY disappointed with Steinhafles because two other places were offering $300 incentives - and one on the exact same bed and foundation that we purchased. The incentive was a $300 Visa gift card.

Steinhafels was not willing to increase their incentive. This is very chintzy on their part as the $300 would have been only nine and one half percent off of the total purchase. We have purchased from Steinhafels for over 30 years and they seem to be more and more inflexible on their incentives. Steinhafels gets a two...

Good selection, however the sales man that helped me was nice till I was surprised by the cost of one of the mattresses around $4k I had a thought process of a good mattress to be around 2 to 3k. At that moment, the mood changed. It felt like i was waisting this guys time. I was then showed a tiny bed in the corner. Absolutely insulting!

I don't buy mattresses for a living and do not know how much a good mattress cost. My surprise was not that I can't afford it, far from it. It was more on the lines of "wow I was way off on costs". ( First place I started looking other then the internet). There is to many places to buy a mattress to be treated like a cheap sale, and rushed out.
