I had a rough few experiences with MW. The chain seems to be overpriced, out of touch with customer needs, and always pushing to make the easiest dollar possible without providing much value.
My worst experience was when I needed to rent a suit for a wedding. I had everything I needed except the suit coat itself. Naturally, I wanted to see if it was cheaper to rent or buy the the coat and pant itself, or the whole package (maybe there was a discount).
When I got measured, I was rang up for a price that was too high for a rental. It easily could have been more than buying two suits anywhere else in the area. When I tried to politely ask questions; I was told I can't buy it or anything similar, I couldn't find out what prices would be for each option, and I have to buy this overpriced package whether I like it or not.
Don't shop here. In all honesty, try JC Penny or another department store. Get a suit for a small fraction of the price of their rentals, and just tailor it. The fabric and stitching will be just as good (assuming you're not in the market for a $2000+ suit). Plus you won't have to deal with...

The biggest issues I have had are with the hems not holding up on my alterations⦠and when I have brought them back the staff has been difficult to work with.

All of this with trying to work with them over a number of months.
If you have the chance to use a Menās Wearhouse in another location (like Fargo) I highly recommend doing that.
The Fargo location has great...

I returned to MW today in search of a new shirt and coat for a friendsā wedding this weekend. I am such a Buzz Killington for not remembering her name, but the lass who helped me delivered a solid, world class experience and restored my faith in not only Menās Wearhouse, but humanity altogether.
Meh. The epitome of your typical American corporatist shopping experience. Return policy blows. I donāt like to share my phone number with retailers. I donāt always keep track of receipts either, because most clothing stores will accept a return on an item with tags, even without a receipt. They may offer in-store credits only, but at least they will work with you. Not here. Iāll stick to places like Halberstadts in Fargo or RH Standard downtown Grand Forks for my fine...
