I'm a night owl so it doesn't hold that type of appeal for me, but it's clean and there are remarkably few empty storefronts. Few vagrants if any, no piles of trash, etc.
I stayed at a downtown hotel and I was afraid of a Judgement Night situation (terrible film but not a wholly unrealistic depiction of LA at the time,) or worse: BALTIMORE; but it had more of a mall at closing time feel. Not as charming as Duluth but an order of magnitude cleaner.

Lots of cool Vintage Clothing Stores and make it a great location for families ( free splash pad) and for those who want a River walk downtown experience without...

The artwork was really nice and unique but you would need a bank loan to buy any of it. Too bad because if it was reasonably priced I would have bought some. And yes I know, artists need to make a living also but they don't need to scalp...
