the employees did not seem happy. in this economy it’d be something i’m able to overlook, everyone’s having a hard time. but it seemed like they blamed me for being the reason they were unhappy. seems like a management/ownership issue. food took 45 mins to come out and my chai was lukewarm at best. the bread on my sandwich was burnt and for the price, the food AND chai should have been better quality. the space was nice, but the employees brought the vibe down with their attitude. how can you expect customers to enjoy the space when it doesn’t seem like the employees even want to be there? the employee there even told me, unprompted, that she “didn’t make enough money to act like she liked it here,” which is crazy to tell someone out of the blue. mgmt, i suggest you pay your employees more or give them better perks/benefits. place also seemed to be run kind of lazily, and you could feel the lack of motivation there. it’s a nice space in prime real estate but it leaves a lot to be desired, i went there at about 8:30 and i expected it to be busy-ish but there was barely anyone in there. good thing too, since the service was so slow. do better. you owe it to your employees and...

I used to be a faithful customer (for years!), however the quality of my experience here has greatly decreased. The food quality is inconsistent, and service has been increasingly unfriendly. Today was the final straw, and I likely won't be back for a while.

I arrived, payed for a couple hours of parking, and intended to write for a while. There was only one employee, and she informed me there was no ice for my iced drink. Also, the kitchen was closed during normal breakfast hours, so I was unable to order from the menu. I opted for the banana bread, which I asked to have warmed. However, when I received it, it was still cold and the inside was pure dough.

I left without a drink, without food, and seven dollars poorer. I left and took my business elsewhere. I don't mean to complain, but when service is this bad, attention needs to be given. Daily Buzz, you're a cute place. I've enjoyed you for years, but something is...

This place is fantastic! My fiancé and I had two mocha's which were excellent, just the right mix of bitter and sweet, she had a BLAT which she said was fantastic, and I had the Buddha Bowl which slapped. The chocolate banana loaf was incredible, just what I wanted. The space was cozy and not too crowded given its relatively small size.

The service was fantastic, the woman that took our order was very nice and helpful even though they were out of several items she was helpful in letting us know what they were out of. We originally ordered a 20 oz mocha, but she accidentally gave us a 12 which would normally take off a star, but when we made her aware she was quick to correct the issue. We asked for just another 12 oz rather than having her make a whole 20 oz.

Customer service like that with reasonable prices and great food, you've made long term...

Coffee was good. Food was very subpar for the price. Prosciutto flatbread had no prosciutto, but had bacon strips on top instead. Sandwich made with stale bread. Quesadilla was $9, and had almost no filling. While waiting, we could see the employee preparing food in what was literally a broom closet behind the espresso counter, with very dim lighting. Dining area was dirty, and looked like it is undergoing some renovation or is just left in an unfinished state. Looked up at the ceiling after finishing food to realize that it is extremely dirty with exposed insulation and wires hanging down overhead. Would not be back, especially for food. Too many good coffeeshops out there that actually have clean dining and food prep areas. If they complete whatever renovations they are working on, maybe it could be a cool space, but is not ready right now.

There's no parking lot. Street parking or ramp only. There are 2 doors to enter but the one was locked. We almost left thinking they were closed but saw a worker in there staring at us through the window so decided to walk around the building and the 2nd door was unlocked. Walked in and was not greeted with a smile or words from the cashier. Energy was extremely low for the employees. We wanted to order lunch but the cashier said, "I don't think the kitchen is open today." So we got a danish which was $5. Very pricey for a standard size danish. Latte was pretty bitter, even with caramel and sweet cream added.

I want to support local. I'm just not impressed with the place. It's dark, but not cozy. When asked for a menu, we were told to scan a code or look at it online. (Ok, maybe it's Covid specific.) The hummus had no flavor (even salt) besides garlic. My pesto Mac had just a skin of cheese melted over the top. I was told to be careful, because the bowl was extremely hot. Odd, as the noodles inside were pretty cold. Overall, it does not seem like a welcoming place to be. I am not in a hurry to return.
