The convenience of this place being open at all hours is the only reason they get 2 stars. This place is absolutely horrific with getting back to patients who need things when they are not in the actual office. I called last week because my medication was making me ill and no one ever got back to me. Then I started calling for my asthma pump refill because I have a lingering cough from being sick and the meds prescribed doing nothing but making me worse and again no calls back until finally a receptionist had me leave a message for the nurse. I sadly missed the call back and haven’t been able to get someone since. As I write this I’ve been on hold for a very long time with no one ever picking up my call to apologize for the wait. They don’t even know why I’m calling yet. This is absolutely unacceptable. Even my pharmacist tried to get them to proceed with the prescription and nothing. I need to look into finding a better caring office. This place needs extreme training. I just need my inhaler! It should not be this hard to get this done. I left the message on the prescription extension also about 3x and nothing from that either. It’s been several days now. Do they not listen to messages at this place? They need a patient portal because I bet these people who need to listen to the calls go on their social media so maybe they will handle patient issues better on a website or app!!!by the way as I finish this I’m still on hold!!! It’s been at least 15 minutes at this point. What the hec? I hung up and called back and the receptionist never once apologized and had a very blasé tone in taking my information. I said all I need is my inhaler and I’ve left several messages and she was just so blah saying they will do their best….. well their best needs to be 99x better. Read moreI gave them one star only because I had to I've been going to familycare for years and I've never had any problems like the problems that I've had in the past couple of months I'm not sure if they changed management or what's going on but the girls up front or irresponsible they don't do their job they're very rude on the phone and face-to-face. I've been asking now for 4 days if I could have a faxed report to a doctor with my x-ray results on it and 4 days later they still haven't sent the fax yet and I have called every single day. I've had to cancel numerous appointments because they need that x-ray report. I was then told on Tuesday I can come pick up the disc it would be easier today is Thursday I called to say I wanted to come pick up the disc she laughed and she said well that takes 24 hours. first of all I'm not really sure why she was laughing because it's not funny because now they're cutting into my time being taken off of work because I can't get into the proper doctor because of their negligence. They were supposed to initiate an MRI with my insurance company on Monday I called my insurance company today it's Thursday they have not called yet to initiate an MRI or any type of approval meanwhile I'm sitting at home with a possible torn rotator cuff I cannot move my arm I'm in excruciating pain I can't see any doctors without an MRI report and an x-ray report and all of this is in their hands and they sit back behind that counter all they do is laugh tell jokes and make fun of the patients that walk through that door. I'm not really sure what happened to this establishment over the past the year but I will tell you that it has gone downhill and I will never step foot back into FamilyCare again in Greenbrook after I get my x-ray disc and I am approved for my MRI. Read moreI would typically not write a review except that my experience with my children today at Family Care was horrible, unacceptable, and very disappointing! Had to go for a very minor issue for my child. Receptionist was fine, Dr.Ligot was kind, HOWEVER, was treated horribly by the MA (maybe nurse?) Jennifer attending to us! The behavior and statements that were made to me and my children by her was unacceptable, rude and borderline abusive/discriminatory. In the medical field myself, I have previously referred many patients to Family Care without hesitation. However, after said abusive experience today with MA(nurse?)Jennifer, even as we were exiting, would make me think twice about going there or sending others! I would never think this is acceptable! We are out of pandemic times and a near 3 hour wait ( esp when told on a phone call it was not busy, which it wasn’t ) plus an abusive experience by a staff member, is unacceptable! To add, she was training another new MA(or nurse)! I can’t imagine the behavior she is setting and teaching her! (She refused to even identify herself, nor allow the trainee to identify her, after the escalating attitude and said she “could say or do whatever she wanted”! I had to eventually get her name from the doctor!). This is NOT ACCEPTABLE patient care by staff members, inappropriate, and rather disturbing!
