uBreakiFix - Phone and Computer Repair — Local services in Green

Absolutely worth of a 5-star experience!! Needless to say, I broke the screen on my S22+ after only having it for about 3 months. With service through Spectrum I sadly didn't add insurance. Completely stressed about the cost of fixing or replacing, I first made a reservation with Spectrum Belden/Canton a night prior to weigh my options. 10:40am was the next available appointment on Saturday July 2nd for a holiday weekend; they opened at 9am. I arrived at Spectrum Belden/Canton at 9am in hopes to get in earlier only to remain 5th in line not moved due to prior scheduled appointments. At 10am I headed to Experimax for advice on repairing my phone as I have used them in the past with repairing a tablet. They mainly do Apple and would have had to order a screen for $380 to repair with a wait of 5-7 days due to the holiday. I then headed to Belden Village Mall where Smart Fix was supposedly opened at 9am only to realize no businesses open until 11am and I didn't even see a cell phone repair where it was listed. I returned to Spectrum at 10:30am for my 10:40 appointment to only find out that they don't even repair phones. My only option was to purchase a new phone at the cost of $1,000. However the additional cost because my screen was blacked out would have been to completely lose everything. Lose all my contacts, text messages, unsaved photos (which was most detrimental because I had 700 un-backed up photos from a recent trip to Niagara Falls), all my apps, saved passwords, etc. Basically screwed because without access to my screen, nothing could be transferred. My phone had to be repaired and thankfully was an option because I was still getting text messages, calls and my alarms were still coming through; I just couldn't see my screen. Thankfully another rep at Spectrum overheard my dilemma and recommended uBreakiFix. Amidst my stressful situation, I raced 20 minutes to this location... I was then informed that they could repair my phone and it would only be $250. Much relieve and well worth the cost at this point. I wish I would have just come here right at 10am when they opened... the repair was suggested to be complete by about 4pm same day... again, huge relief on a holiday weekend! Upon returning at 4pm, not only was my phone repaired saving me tons of stress, but the tech informed me that Samsung actually covered the cost! Nothing but 100% satisfied with the services this company provides!!! I saved hundreds of dollars and had I known sooner about their services would have saved hours of my morning! The team at uBreakiFix at this location are amazing! I dropped my Google Pixel 6 Pro last night and half of my screen was non-responsive. The crack was pretty deep to the point it turned black under the glass at the site of impact. I was on a very tight timeframe and needed it repaired promptly because I use my phone for my job.

It was a Sunday so 3/4 of the phone repair stores from Kent and Stow, to Fairlawn, and Canton are closed completely on Sundays. I went to four different phone repair stores, and called 10-15 others and not a single repair store even had the screen to replace it, though a handful said they could order it for me.

This was the only store I could find that was able to do the repair for me. I had to be back to work by 2pm. I walked in the door right at 12pm when they opened as my last hail Mary to try to get it fixed before work. Spencer the floor associate and Joe the technician both greeted me promptly right when I walked in and began assisting me.

They originally quoted me 2-3 hours for repair, but put my mind at ease letting me know that they would work as quickly as they could, and that since I was the first customer of the day that they would get right to work on it.

The other repair stores that offered to order the screen for me quoted $300 or more, and uBreakiFix, a Google certified repair store, came in at $279.99 before tax.

Joe did a great job on the repair, and attaching a fancy memory gel screen protector for me. It looks good as new at this point in time. Spencer and Joe were both very professional and provided great customer service. While sitting in the lobby waiting I could overhear Spencers conversations with other customers and he was just as friendly and attentive with the other patrons as well. He has a great personality for the customer service industry. You could tell both Joe and Spencer truly care and enjoy their work here. I plan on coming back to this repair shop for any future repair needs.

I cracked the corner of my phone when it got stuck between my power seat and the console in my car. Of course I went through my cell provider insurance to pay to fix it. And it made me choose 1 of 3 stores that do this. And i'm, you know, skeptical. When you see names like "it's broke I fix", "brokea**phone" or in this case "UBREAKIFIX", I'm thinking $2 Timex knockoffs and someone who doesn't speak English. But, I can't function with a TOUCHSCREEN SMART PHONE that's cracked and only works on the corner. I called them in the morning to verify that they were open and to find out what the procedure was, whether I had to make an appointment or was it walk-in. I was greeted by a very pleasant and welcoming voice. A voice that understood what I was going through. A voice that I could understand. In this case no appointment needed walk-ins only here. First come, first served. I did, however, want to make sure that they had what they needed to fix phone before I drove the distance. I got over here as quick as I could after work, and within two hours they had my phone good as new or better. They even cleaned it. ( I'm not talking about a simple rub down here either. We're talking about cleaning your speaker's and charging ports and any crevices and holes.)Something I did not know, but as a Verizon customer you get free cell phone cleanings. Who knew? I sure didn't. These people work with more than cellphones, though. They work on computers such as laptops, tablets, game consoles and all manner of different Electronic devices. The people working here are pleasant and knowledgeable. There's also no shortage of things you can do in the area. A wealth of stores and restaurants to occupy your time while you're phone is being serviced. The short story is, if your electronic device isn't functioning properly, this IS where you need to be.
