Iam writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel from April 19, 2025, to April 20, 2025, under Reservation # 39299939.
On the morning of Sunday, April 20, 2025, I discovered a water bug in the bathtub of my room. I immediately reported this issue to the night desk clerk. Her response to finding a pest in my room was to offer me a complimentary snack, which I found to be an entirely inadequate and frankly insulting resolution to such an unsanitary situation.
I requested to speak with the manager and was informed she was not yet on duty. I waited for the manager, Delila, to arrive and explained the situation to her, also providing her with a photograph of the water bug. Manager Delila apologized and assured me that she would "take care of the situation and me." I left this interaction feeling reassured that I would receive some form of compensation for the discomfort and unpleasantness of finding a pest in my room, such as a refund or a discount on my stay.
However, upon checking out, I was charged the full room rate of $132.39. It is unacceptable that despite the presence of a pest in my room and the manager's assurance that the situation would be addressed, no action was taken to compensate me for this negative experience. Offering a free snack by the night clerk was dismissive, and the subsequent inaction by the manager, Delila, after acknowledging the issue is deeply disappointing.
I request that this matter be resolved immediately. I believe a fair resolution would be a full refund, a complimentary future stay, or at the very least, a 50% refund for the significant discomfort and unsanitary conditions I experienced.
At this time, I cannot recommend your hotel to others and am highly unlikely to stay at your property again in the future unless this issue is addressed to my...
Read moreIt's not often a hotel exceeds expectations. I'll grant you, this class of hotels does not generally invoke thoughts of the 4 Seasons or the Ritz. But having stayed at Comfort Inns numerous times in the past, I thought I knew what I was getting into.||Let me say my 2 biggest complaints about my room were these: opening and closing the door tight was pretty much impossible to do with 1 hand; and the bathroom sink drained unbelievably slowly.||Beyond that, I was quite pleased. Check-in was quick. I was offered a room on my choice of the 3 story building. The room was bright, both with natural and artificial light. The bathroom had adequate towels. Toiletries were included. The hotel has gone green so if you desire new towels or housekeeping, you need to request it no later than 10 AM.||The bed was comfortable, pillows full sized (there's been a trend in this level hotel of using square pillows of late) and sufficiently supportive, and the blankets did their job. The fridge and microwave worked perfectly. The TV, in addition to having the standard cable collection, offered Netflix, Amazon Prime (for both of those you needed to use your own account) along with Pluto TV, a FAST (Free Ad Supported Television) service.||There was a pool, although it was rather small, along with a small fitness center. The hotel provided the rather standard breakfast offered at this level hotel. What elevated the breakfast was the service. I didn't catch the woman's name but she was relentlessly cheerful in the most pleasant way possible and made sure none of the items ran out.||Overall, the experience was very much worth the price. If I ever find myself in a need to visit the area again, that's where...
Read moreWe typically stay here when we come into town. We’ve had really pleasant experiences previously.
This time, the staff were great. Check-in was easy - the night staff member was helpful and friendly.
When we got to our room, we realized the floor in front of the air conditioner was very wet. Upon further inspection, the air conditioner had a significant leak and there was mold under it.
We went back to the front desk and told them about it, then were moved to a different room. This room was bigger because they didn’t have any other similar rooms available, which was kind.
This new room had less mold, but still some behind the door and in the bathtub. It wasn’t as clean as we were used to at this property. The toilet also didn’t flush properly, with no water flow down from the sides of the toilet. Both rooms had very loud ACs.
The breakfast was great, as were the people working it. We weren’t woken up by any noises and other people weren’t disruptive, despite it being the weekend.
My feedback would be to increase the cleaning to ensure that guests are comfortable in the space, and to fix things as they break - the toilet flushing and AC leaking would be important improvements! Otherwise, staff, breakfast, location, and noise...
