I never write reviews, however, I felt this warranted one. Maybe by doing so, things can improve. I don’t know. I dined in at the Arlington rd. location across from target. It was just before 4pm, Saturday. My young daughter and I got there and they weren’t busy but there were a few tables. First things first, the host asked us how many in our party and then had to go check for a table, came back and said she had to wipe one down real quick. It was slow, so why they didn’t have any tables cleared is beyond me, alas we waited patiently. We get sat and a server comes up fairly quickly to take our drink order. My daughter and I however were not sure what we wanted to drink as we didn’t know if we were eating breakfast or dinner items. I told her I’m sorry could we have a minute and she just said okay and walked away. It seemed like 10min went by before a different server came up to ask what we were drinking. I thought that was weird that I had a new server but whatever, I tell her my drink and she asks if we’re ready to order. I wasn’t but my daughter was. I asked if she could put her order in first, and it come out as soon as it’s done and she said sure. I place my daughters order and then I continue to make my decision. Meanwhile, the first server I had seemed to be taking a long time with her tables because I could see one table looking and hear them sort of talking about her. I watched her ignore that table for 20 min before she asked them if they needed or wanted anything. My daughter and I both get up to go to the bathroom when another customer is at the register asking for their bill because their server disappeared. Then that same server tried to take syrup to a table that hadn’t ordered yet and then admitted she was telling other staff that NO ONE needed syrup and that would explain why her other table that needed syrup complained. She had her tables mixed up. I watched all the servers never greet their tables promptly as it did start to pick up and when they did it was just “what do you want to drink” no “hi, how are you?” Our food took about 30 min to come out and my daughters came at the same time as mine. Again, whatever. There were several dirty tables around, the one next to us was dirty from when we got sat until we left 1 hour later! I did see the general manager come out and buss tables the one next to us included, yet I watched two other hosts at separate times try to seat someone then double back to a different table only to ask them to stand and wait for them to wipe off one, or they walked clear to the other side for a clean table. My daughter and I drank our entire drinks and they were completely empty for at least 5 min before our server asked if we wanted a refill, which we did. Our server or any other server never asked any table around us how their food was. It wasn’t busy and yet we never seen them. I seen the same server from before get asked for a water and she completely forgot then also admitted to having other food to run and that’s why she forgot their water, and then almost harassed them to agree to TOGO waters when the lady said “I’m fine now, I’ll just drink this other drink I already had”. I waited for the bill longer than I should have. Overall, I didn’t have a literal poor experience but the whole dinning room did collectively. It was all around just a lack of good customer service. I tipped my server almost 50% of the bill (their food is cheap and 20% of my check was $5 and I tipped her $10). Read moreI was told I needed to pick loaded potatoes on the site that its and additional charge so they couldnt make them loaded which I can understand that wasnt my problem but was annoying as I couldnt chose that option online anyway I picked up my food curbside and drove home only to unbox my food to have barely any potatoes when there were supposed to be 3 orders total as well as my eggs were cold and i live only 7 minutes away then to top it off i called to speak to them about missing one of the 3 orders of potatoes the first person to answer was nice they transferred me to who I assume was a manager who seemed not very happy to be dealing with me we came to an agreement to refund the missing order of potatoes which was fine but while attempting to fill out the info for the refund she yawned in my ear atleast 8 times mumbled a bunch about how tired they were and after getting all the info she ended up needed to redo some of it as they forgot to put in the price and save it after all this i was still kind when ending the call and they seemed like they could care less and its sad as this isnt the first time ive had a bad experience there but this is my first time actually complaining and i do not plan to go back Its annoying enough to have your food messed up and i understand it can happen but it felt like there was no professionalism in the call at all i completely understand being tired but to break conversation yawn very loud then mumble the rest of the sentence to me is just rude and to continuously do that felt quite unprofessional and...
Read moreOkay so, I could give a bad review but I'm not going to. I did a curbside pickup online order. I got there at the estimated time it said it would be ready, and called to let them know I am there which is what the sign says to do when you park. Waited on hold like 12 minutes before I just went inside as other people waiting for curbside were starting to do the same. When I got inside, it was obvious they were purposely just ignoring the phone, which I'm sure is because they were so busy. Seems there would be better ways around this, but, whatever. Nobody was rude(except one man , I will get to that part) no customers were complaining, it was just going to be a wait. Understandable, it is Mother's day. One customer did try to tell the manager about the phone situation and he purposely ignored this man and walked away, I thought that was extremely rude but again, oh well I guess lol. But, when I finally got my order after an hour of waiting and got home, everything was correct and everything was delicious!!! We had quite a few modifications and I was fully expecting errors, there were no errors!! Most places now a days mess up more orders than not, and it's just getting bad out there.
