This complaint is specifically for the CVS pharmacy at this Target location. I want to warn people about the pharmacy tech giving vaccines at this Target. My daughter texted me on her way home from getting her booster there, saying it was in a “weird place…in between her neck and shoulder.” This is serious, as getting the vaccine in a location other than the CDCs two approved places - the deltoid muscle in the arm and the anterolateral muscle in the thigh- can cause debilitating pain and life long injuries. Her shoulder still hurts and we are currently monitoring her, treating with ice and NSAIDs. I’m writing this review to warn others about this pharmacy, and hopefully preventing more injuries by this pharmacy tech. I had no idea how much could go so wrong if the vaccine is not given properly. Google the CDC’s vaccine training modules, CDC’s vaccine administration errors guidance chart, and SIRVA to educate yourselves on proper vaccine administration, when you should report an error, and to learn what can go wrong if not administered...
Read moreEvery morning that I go into this Target it’s the same experience. No one speaks, no one acknowledges you. There are plenty of employees that you encounter because they’re in the aisles restocking but they act like you are in their way and a burden to them. Multiple times I say excuse me to them to get to an item and they don’t say a word. Most of the time I have to wait for them to move. I understand it’s maybe 15 minutes or so after the store has opened BUT the store is open. Further, this morning one of the employees (off duty) literally almost hit me. I was in their crosswalk and she was speeding down the road. She proceeded to not stop at the crosswalk but to instead block it and park in the middle of it, get out of her car, walk in, and speak to all the other employees. Like if I didn’t move I guess I would’ve learned to moved today. We are supposed to be “guests” at Target? I don’t feel very much like a guest and this is not an environment that makes me want to...
Read moreCame from afar for a particular item today and had the most incredible Target experience. First, the item in question was on clearance (a surprise to us!) and the lady on the phone found it and told us that typically, they are not able to put clearance items on hold, but would make an exception as long as we came quickly. I think she said her name was Amantha? Samantha? I asked but didn’t hear her clearly. We were able to pick up easily at Guest Services and that transaction was seamless. We shopped around a little afterwards. An associate heard us say “did ya find it?” “no not yet” to one another and helped us find what we were looking for..didn’t catch her name. And finally, we had Raquel at check out who was so kind and genuine and polite (also wished us a safe trip home). I’m one of those never-leaves-a-review kind of people but they were so impressive. Management should throw a pizza party...
