Marshalls — Local services in Greenbelt

Racial profiling. Not only did the store associate follow my four children and I through the store. She made it her business to also follow us outside to our vehicle as if she was putting something in her car. Then walk back in the store. I am a working professional and the fact that I am of a specific race or chose to have a certain amount of children should not justify being followed throughout the store. This is not the first time I’ve been profiled in this same location it happened twice before once being when I was pregnant. I had to unzip my jacket just to show I was pregnant and not shoplifting. I will not be frequenting this location simply because of the clear bias the store associates have against certain demographics. It’s sad because this really is a nice Marshall’s to shop at. If it happens again I will contacting corporate to make a claim. Also before anyone ask neither myself nor any of my children had bags or clothing to hide merchandise. Two of them are infants and were in an umbrella stroller as the standard strollers will also bring suspicion of theft...

Have gone a couple of times never had an issue good place to shop has a lot of stuff. but last time I went i was using the restroom and the security guard walked in was being rude and bothering the costumers in the restroom not only that but people I was with also told me that he had made a comment to them same thing he did to me while I was using the restroom.
