This places SCAMS you out of your money by not providing the right deals, not providing the correct portions, and offering rude service. I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR OVER A YEAR AND IM NEVER RETURNING. THIS RESTAURANT WILL SCAM YOU.
I went in around 7:30 on April 16, 2024 looking for the 1/2 Chicken for 1/4 Chicken price that’s advertised as a Tuesday special. I’ve been coming here for the last year and change but NEVER AGAIN. I went up to order and I was trying to order in Spanish (it’s not the best) but was met with smirks and light giggles at my attempts. No harm but weird. I begin to order how I usually do, and it’s to ask for a 1/2 chicken in a container by itself with the TWO “INCLUDED” SIDES separately. They didn’t mention anything and carried on with packaging my order. I was ordering 2 orders and for the second one, I asked for white meat only, but they only provided a 1/4 portion when I asked for the 1/2. I tried to tell them I wanted a 1/2 but they were rude and rolled their eyes and explained that it was. I wasn’t in the mood to argue so I went to the register but they rang me up for $34 when I usually pay around $21-22. I asked them to explain the price difference and they said it’s because I asked for separate containers. Mind you, this has NEVER happened in the past, so I asked the older man who I think is the owner and he just plainly said “Rules change.” I was so frustrated because the lady who served me was also saying how it’s not her fault so to not blame her. Read moreSep 2023 update. Perhaps only Rotisserie chicken is good here. I had stew chicken with 2 sides. I got 2 small pieces of chicken with 2 small sides for almost $15. These were all precooked items in trays. I know about inflation. But it is still expensive with the quantity of food give.
Need consistency of quality and quantity. I could give a 4 star. Been there twice. First time got the whole fish. It was delicious and the sides were fresh and plentiful. Second time got the salmon which was ok— a bit too oily. I had mixed vegetables and plantains as sides. I thought the quantity was not as good as the first time. Read moreI know there's many places to have Peruvian style rotisserie chicken. Not sure why this is different, a spice or time the chicken is marinated. This is probably the best chicken I've had. Most other places are heavy of the smoky flavor. This has very minimal smoky taste which I prefer. They have many side option. I just opted to have chicken alone without sides.
