We came in from the mall at 6:50 assuming they were open until 8pm, like the mall. At 7, the lights went off. We hurriedly walked to the register where the two teenage girls were already counting money with the doors closed and locked. They were shocked to see us and said they had made “like 6 announcements,” though none of those came while my husband and I were in the store. They were incredibly rude and said we were too late to make to buy anything and would need to go out the front doors and walk around. We laid what we had wanted to buy down and attempted to find our way out, not really knowing which way they intended for us to leave. After trying two doors, we finally located the door she must have meant, where a man stood. All he said to us was “there you are!” Then he turned around, annoyed, and walked away as we began to leave. I couldn’t believe how rudely we were treated after being locked in their store and practically treated as if we were criminals. The signage on the door still states that they are open until 9. I suppose we must have walked in after their announcement, as we do not take very long to select what my husband likes to wear, but the way we were treated is enough to make me never return to this store. I didn’t catch the names of the two young girls, but the man’s name who was apparently in charge and so dismissive was Allen. Shame on you, Allen! You’ve lost two customers at a time when it appears River Valley could really use ...
Read moreI asked two associates twice what time they closed; I was ignored because they were busy watching something on their cell phones. My daughter and I proceeded to look around the store. At 7 pm, they announced over the intercom that the store was closing and turned off the lights. We walked back towards the inside mall entrance, and the doors had already been shut and locked! I asked them to unlock the door, so we could exit because my car was parked on that side of the building. They said they could not open the door and only the manager had that capability. I asked them to call the manager on the phone, and I was told I needed to leave via the back entrance of the store, which would have forced me to walk around the entire mall building. Then they threatened to call mall security, and I said, "good, call them; they can open the door." They claimed they made multiple announcements saying the store was closing. I pulled out my phone, and the time was 7:02 PM; I don't know how they expect people to vacate the premises that quickly. Most establishments leave a small gap between the sliding doors and post a worker there to prevent people from entering. How is this not a fire code violation? All the exits are locked with patrons still inside and only...
Read moreMe and my daughter go there to get our hair cuts there all the time. They are great with cutting hair BUT we went there to get color in our hair this last time, it was suppose to be purple and it was for a week but most people said it looked blue to them then after that it turned like a mermaid blueish green color and its staying that color now. The next time we went in like a month later we told the lady that was going to cut my daughters hair (different lady) about what happened to our hair after we left last time and she said she will give the manager my phone number and have him call me and that he'll make it right. It's been a couple weeks since then and still...
